There was always something disturbingly phallic about that sword. Lion-O would hold it over his head whenever he got excited, and as his voice got louder and louder it would grow longer and longer and more powerful...

Well to be fair it was usually when he thought he was gonna get the snot kicked out of him and needed assistance from his mates. But aye there was a whole thing about him being a young kid forced to grow up suddenly into an adult body and having to accept responsibility of being the leader and such. I don't think getting excited and having something phallic increase in length is the usual reaction to the threat of a butt kicking and I don't think you'd then want your mates come help out either. Or maybe he's in that, I don't know lol

I'm still amazed they got away having them all naked in the first episode. Even the kids. But aye if I was like 12 and woke up to the sight of Cheetara's boobs I'd grow up pretty damn quick too lol

Oh and aye that prop sword looks aces but again one for the richer collector. lol. Can someone just make a cheap one that looks like the same size and design but out of plastic or something for us poor folk? lol

I take it the eye of thundera is closed on one side and open on the other aye? Simplest way to go about it I suppose.

I just found it odd that they had leg joins like action figures and no sexual organs. I thought maybe its a skin tight suit like Spiderman but then I thought that didnt make sense either. I was 14 when it came out in England in 1987

Despite the price, I was tempted by this but I can't get past that sea green color used for the guard inlay. I know they're pulling inspiration from multiple sources but it just cheapens the look for me :p
