That’s a good horse for a very reasonable price, but does that Gunslinger Spawn seriously have those permanent cowboy bow legs?

Probably, what with this and that capeless throne Spawn I think Mcfarlane is getting nostalgic for that staction figure days where a figure is in one pose and you can move 1 or 2 limbs but nothing too far from the intended pose.

I don't mind it, because I have the other 2 versions that both have normal legs. But, if this was the only one, it'd be a bit annoying.

Having bought both versions of gunslinger spawn, i should have guessed that todd would release a platinum version of it. Unlike the platinum mandarin spawn, i can pass this one but then again, that horse though....

Hey, it comes with the horse for just 49.99, which is awesome!

Boogieman4hire 05-01-2022 12:43 PM

Didn't have any Gunslinger Spawn but I was interested. This one hits just perfect with that horse.

Bow-Legged Spawn

The Bow-Legged-ness is funny! Geralt (The Witcher), who the horse sculpt hit shelves first for, has normal legs and rides fine (but yeah, his feet splay a bit from the saddle, but not distressingly).

I have two (modest) complaints about the horse design (conditions that wouldn't have cost more to address):

1) the horse's legs are very close together and can't splay (on a pin-joint) so it topples over (but can, with luck, stand on its own with Geralt)

2) The tail is a solid chunk of plastic and surprisingly heavy (tends not to pose well).

Nice Gimmick....
Think I pass...

Sorry McF ;^)

So does that mean the first version won't be able to sit on that horse? If the first version CAN sit on the horse, then why design a second version that doesn't look right just standing by himself?
