The Alpha-X is a great starting point to get into the Shinkalion line. It looks like a simple set on the surface, but when you consider that you can purchase any of the Z liners add-on sets to upgrade the Alpha-X, this opens the toy up to many possibilities. While making one of the alternate modes, I noticed that the figure became back heavy very quickly but that's a very minor issue I have. If you have a few of the other Shinkalion Z sets then the Alpha-X is a worthy addition to your collection.
