Pulse sucks

Its coming up on 2+ weeks since imordered figs through that sale pulse had and i am STILL sans my power ranger 3 packs. They managed to mail an instock yellow 8nspace rangr but my april/mikey, raph/tommy and kendra/skorpina two packs, all of which were instock, are still undelivered and when i emailed these assbag fucktards all i got was typical cookie cutter, no real fucking information responses.

At this point id rather them just give me back my money but i cant even get these fuckers to even do that, let alone actually send me what they are supposed to. Really makes me wonder if they even are gonna send em at all. I swear trying to get shit should not be this goddamned hard. I hope my morph and mojo set dont get delayed or never shipped. Once i get those i am washing my hands of pulse. They are worse than matty collector.

Dr Kain 06-20-2022 03:36 PM

They just now mailed the other half of my order out today, so patience. This happens all of the time with these type of sales. Rightstuf does this all of the time.

SpasticPlastic 06-20-2022 03:44 PM

Pulse is pretty awful. I've ended up cancelling every order I've put in, except for 2.

Arachnid13 06-20-2022 04:09 PM

This is why I’m glad I don’t use pulse.

Theres patience and theres wtf is up ya know? I mean more than two weks and not even a hey we hevnt forgotten about your shit email or something but not being able to get ANY info is just piss poor management on their part. Whats worse is i lost my green ranger shredder because just as i hit complete order i got hit with the out this item is outta stock bullshit. I even went back nd looked and it still showed it instock. They did better before when they were hasbro toyshop. As pulse they give mattycollector/digital river a run for their money in terms of pure and utter douchebaggery service.

I just have three never-instocks, i mean pre-orders, with em and as soon as they/if ever get filled im washing my hands of them.

GizmoTron 06-20-2022 05:31 PM

Never had a problem with Pulse. But I didn't order anything from their sale, either. Doesn't surprise me they're a little backed up, though.

EvilMonkeyPope 06-20-2022 05:37 PM

FedEx told me I'd get my box on the 16th. It hasn't moved since the 15th & now delivery is pending.

TheBlueMarvel 06-20-2022 06:12 PM

I got everything I ordered from the sale today.

That's not Pulse's fault though.

Did you not get the email from them? Last week they sent out a mass email that said:

Quote:

Thank you for your recent order on HasbroPulse.com.

Due to the overwhelming success of Pulse Power Days Sales Event, shipping may be delayed.

We apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate your patience!

Thanks for being a fan!

Hasbro clearly wasn't ready for the high volume of orders from it's sell. Shudders to think what would happen if they permanently brought prices down.

Part of that is processing the sheer number of orders. The other is FedEx dropped the ball.

The bulk of my order was delayed in Georgia. Finally got an update on Sunday and out for delivery today.

It should be noted that most businesses do have a 3-5 business day policy before shipping.

Personally playing the preorder game is a fools errand. No company really is the fastest and trying to be the first one to have it in the US is unrealistic unless you live right off a port.

But back to this. Yeah the store wide sale brought in too many orders to be handled in a timely manner. That's always a likely scenario with smaller retailers.

The narrative would be different for other days.

I emailed them again about my order and still nothing. Its almost three weeks now and im sorry but that is utterly ridiculous.

Designincase 06-22-2022 12:51 PM

That's rough. I emailed them and got a response in under 24 hours. It was a cookie cutter response but it was a response. I'm assuming that your last email was made 48+ hours ago. Also assuming when you called, you never got anyone.

Still I'd subtract that first week, weekends, and the 19th from the count.

But if they aren't responding, contact your bank.

Hasbro has become utterly ridiculous. Take, Black Series for example (I ain't even gonna bring up Classified because that shit is so jacked up, do we really even need to talk about it. Just. FUCK.) less accessories and articulation while raising prices. Hasbro is still playing the "But but supply chain done be broked" card. Yet no other toy company seems to be having issues. Hell, McFarlane releases like 10 figures a week.

Yes, and 9.5 of those figures is probably a Batman.

But seriously it's probably easier for McFarlane since they are more specialized and have less products to move compared to Hasbro (or Mattel who also has had issues).

Agreed Don't get me started on the Book of Boba Fett Figure Fiasco.

Dude, no. Just, no. "Easier" does not play into it. DC wise, each figure McFarlane releases are mostly entirely unique sculpts. I'm primarily a Hasbro brands collector. Their lines are just where my interests fall. I collect very little in the way of anything else.
Hasbro is creating scarcity and in general absolutely fucking up the way lines are managed. And what is this "specialized" you speak of?

What issues has Mattel had? Hot Wheels? Not according to my HW collector buddies. MOTU. Nope. WWE? nuh-uh. Jurassic World? Hell no. Pixar? Lightyear?

So have you been getting the runaround? I lucked out and scored him from Amazon last week. Cyclopswc posted that they had gotten one there. I "what the hell'd" and ran a search and found it in stock. Clicked "other sellers", located the Amazon listing (when did they start defaulting to 3p sellers!?), bought it and it shipped later that day. I almost passed out.

Finding figures should not be so exhausting.

I originally had Fett on pre-order with Gamestop back in December of last year everything was fine until a few months ago when their website kept acting up on my fett order telling me one of the cards wasn't working and I had to keep calling them to fix it. So I cancelled Fett from Gstop and bought him on Best buy.

I used my gamestop Gift Card to pre-order 85Doc Brown

Harbinger 06-23-2022 02:16 PM

I been gettin’ no help from hasblo about my order. I want my gotdamn figures i paid for.

I'm wondering if you are having the same issue I had when I placed an order for Fenec and Hobo Fett when they had them in stock. They said shipped...but the tracking number showed no movement for well over 3 weeks. Then they suddenly, and without any warning, appeared on my doorstep...with an Australian Post shipping label. Apparently...my order was fulfilled from a warehouse overseas...

McFarlane is an action figure company, it's all that they really make, and it all comes from like one factory. They're small but mighty. That's how it's easier for them, or should be, they don't have a million different things to worry about like Hasbro. But they still have had a lot of distribution issues over the past few years, although they've straightened it out and gotten a lot better.

Hot Wheels yes, the die-cast car aisle was freakin' barren until very recently. MOTU also is far from ever being problem free, first it was poor distribution then it became overstock not moving. Don't follow WWE personally so I can't speak to that. Jurassic World and Lightyear only just hit shelves last month and could be planned around street dates, so they shouldn't be effected by the same issues.
