Ah... so Wun-Dar is actually an unmasked Zodac.
But Zodac, as it was later revealed, was really an alternate universe He-Man who really liked the Han Solo color scheme.

What a bunch of BS. I had the item in my cart at 12:00 pm. By the time I was checking out, the item sold out. Suck it Mattel.

Wild, sold out in like 2-3 minutes... I got my order completed within a couple of minutes and went back to the page where it still said "Add to cart" but then I refreshed, and it was sold out.

A figure like this has no business selling out in just 3 minutes. Clearly there's huge demand, so why wouldn't Mattel MAKE MORE so that everyone has a good chance of getting it. I wish more companies would do what Super 7 or NECA does, and have a preorder window open for 1-2 weeks so that there's plenty of time to order it and the company will just make enough to fulfill all the preorders.

I'm sure even with the captcha in place on their site and the limit of 3 per customer, scalpers still managed to order a bunch to flip on Ebay.

I was on the page ready for it, the page refreshed itself at the time, added it to cart and checked out. It must’ve sold out while I was stuck in the “waiting in line” bs.
Sold out in under a minute

I got lucky because the "add to cart" button actually appeared around 9 seconds before it was supposed to go up since I was watching the countdown clock, so I jumped on it immediately and got my order in.

It started 2 minutes before it was supposed to but I was there at 10:58 when it started and it sold out in less than a minute. I had it in the cart and checking out by 11:59 and change it sold out that fast. Piss off Mattel.

I got one. No idea how. I did get a back ordered email from hot wheels telling me to confirm I want it? A rose by any other name, Mattel creations equals Mattycollector.

I thought I had gotten past my Mattycollector ptsd, but today it resurfaced lol

I still go to therapy once a month for it. They say I’m almost to the point of coming “as needed.”

Yeah I got that email too. So right after we place our orders, they email saying we have to confirm we're ok with it not shipping until July 15, otherwise they'll cancel the order. That's absurd. It's like they really want to screw people over every way they can to avoid actually selling us the figure. Why should any of us have to confirm we're fine with it not shipping until July 15 (which is only 3 weeks from now!) when we just placed the order TODAY.

Target pulled this crap for awhile too on a lot of its preorders where every now and then (sometimes every 1-2 weeks on certain items) you have to go in and confirm you're ok with the shipping delay, otherwise they'll just cancel the order if you don't respond within 24 hours.

If I order the damn product, then obviously I WANT it. I don't care if it ships a little bit later.

So I just sent an email reply to 2 different email addresses as well as filling out their customer service form on their site (to cover all bases) practically BEGGING that they don't screw this up and cancel the order I placed a mere hour ago just because it's not shipping until mid July. Ugh!!

It just came back into stock, and I was able to get one! If you were unable to get one try again!

Maybe they realized they screwed up and pissed off a lot of people, or they cancelled a bunch of bot orders and now its available again. It's still up as of right now, for a lot longer than the first time 2 hours ago

I got mine right when it went live, and it still looks available now.

I also got the weird Hot Wheels email--I wonder if it was a bug? I did email customer service telling them not to cancel my order.

Wun-Dar is sold out again. So it lasted maybe 30-40 minutes the 2nd time it went up.

Shoot, I should've waited a bit longer. Guess I have to pay ebay prices or find one at the toy show.

Looks like they are cancelling all the orders for when it when back up again.


How many more ways can Mattel screw this up?
