I bet one of the Star Wars bodies will be Mandalorian, because you know that would be a popular choice. The big question is, which one? Boba, Jango, Din, Bo-Katan, Sabine, Death Watch, etc. And if you can specify armor colors.

From their description, it sounds like a face-scanning app from your phone. So I don't think it'll be from photos. That's why I was wondering if they can "de-age", erasing wrinkles and adding hairs, ha ha.

Sounds like there’s no better time than the present to get one of these lol…also who knows how long they will offer this service. Seems like the kind of gimmick that ends up costing the company too much money and gets abandoned.

Can we use it to get Super Sentai ranger heads for the Power Rangers line?

Saw this on twitter and was like "wait they're actually going to go ahead with that thing?" Then came here and found out that most people actually seem excited about it. I guess Hasbro did their market research and people actually do want this.

Attachment 69156I definitely want that albeit I always envisioned an action figure of one of my character makeups instead. I hope they can also handle some complex hairstyles in the likeness too because a big part of looking like me is my hair.

I honestly don't get what is so great about it, but if it can be used to get me Sentai actor heads, I'm down.

I have no interest in using it on myself though. I'm not a character in Marvel or GI Joe, so unless I'm magically going to become inserted into the comics as that character I don't see the point.

It sounds neat. I’m very interested to see some actual reviews, not only of the final product but also hearing people talk about the process of submitting your likeness.

I’m also curious to see which bodies you can choose from. Marvelousnews showed the Far From Home red and black Spider-Man being an option. Spider-Man is definitely an option I would pick, just not that version.

I'm thinking at $60 a piece Hasbro is going to make easy money here. The bodies are all reuses, the only cost here is printing your likeness on the heads.

You would have to find the original actors and have them scan their face into the app.

But in theory if you could at least find a good facial double then you can get a head sculpt for anyone.

At the very least it could be a good way to get some NPCs for your pictures.

This would be awesome if you could get a famous person to do it and then sell you their fig.

Or depending on the tech needed - put a picture of someone else in front of your camera while in the app.

Which is exactly what I said I was going to try and do over on the 'tank a few hours ago. I needs me a Classified Dutch! And if that works, well, sky's the limit there, eh?

Meh… none of these scrawny beanpoles! I need a figure that reflects me, not just my face. When Mattel does it’s version and gives us access to Dennis Nedry from Jurassic park, then I’ll order! I’m a man who celebrates his “curviness”. ;D

I would imagine a picture would not work, I'm thinking you'll have to rotate the phone around your head as it captures your head from all different angles.
