Looks nice but sideshow are now 275 or 300 plus after ship and tax.

A days salary for some, a weeks salary for most.

I feel the same way. Knock a $100 off the retail, and we'll talk.

It is a nice sculpt, though, and the wardrobe looks very well done. Overall, a nice package.

Prices have to go up to keep margins in check, so that the company can keep their doors open and pay their employees every two weeks. Inflation is at a 40-year record high, so your money doesn't go as far. If $300 is a week's salary then that person probably isn't buying this, so this isn't for them.

I'm lucky that I can ffordb1 of these a day of needed, but I know people who do make minimum and budget for these things. I agree not the smartest decision for a weeks salary.

I have the Redman versions and these do look better. Its about happiness in the end. I might upgrade.

True as that all is, Sideshow in particular has always been priced higher than their contemporaries and for no obvious reason. These dudes will charge Hot Toys prices but have less than half the accessories and less detailed deco.

Seeing as how Hot Toys prices are what they are because they actually pay their workers good wages (or so I've been told) I don't know what Sideshow is doing other than fleecing what they can from dorks with disposable income.

Really nice figure, and glad to see they are continuing this line after first revealing Blondie and Dirty Harry. I hope they do Josey Wales too.
