Marvel Select Miles Morales
|
The proportions on that Miles figure are HORRIBLE. His shoulders, waist, and hips are all nearly the same width. wtf.
|
This figure doesn’t look good at all. That chest joint cut is ugly as sin. Single joints for elbows and knees… really? This is a flexible character.

"Spy-D"
...wut? |
Miles looks SO confused!

Pretty bad articulation, as with most Selects.
Does have some decent accessories being a better looking pre-posed Spider-Ham and that throwing weapon. |

Even for a company that usually releases pretty bad looking figures this one takes the cake. I cannot believe this was approved for release.
|
Fat body and some paraplegic legs and arms. Weird proportions all around and a happy-meal level derpy looking face to boot. How does marvel select make gems like the Juggernaut and Hulk but also make stuff like this?
|
Stop letting Diamond Select Toys make action figures. On top of looking ugly they can’t articulate for shit.
|
Is it worse than the recent Moonknight they made?

McFarlane’s Darkseid’s chest still gives me nightmares. *shudders* |
Somehow they made a lithe character look like he has a dad bod.
But at least they gave him an unmasked head where it looks like he is scared. Well, at least that Peter Porker figure is articulated. Oh wait... Seriously, can no manufacturer make a Spider-Ham figure with articulation? |

Link is for Hasbro's horrible 3.75" Spiderman figure from around 2016 or so. I stop collecting 3.75" figures due to these odd proportions... looks like diamond just copied the same poorly designed body and said look it's new! |

Hell, they made Sprite 2 foot taller than she should be. |

Somehow the physique looks even worse at the larger scale. Maybe it's the weird hip joints. Quote:

What happened to this company? They used to be incredible.

I think the figures you mentioned are anomalies rather than the norm. I’d love to be wrong, though. I miss being a fan of their creations. |
This are good for kids... especially like tourist kids that go to the Disney store and beg their parents for a Spider-man fig... and since it is only 25-ish and they are on vacation the parent usually picks it up for them.
Are there still retail Disney Stores? My state's lone Disney Store recently closed down after like 30 years I think... I miss going there to look at all the plushies and Disney Cars stuff. |
