I was looking forward to add to my Mai collection, but this looks ... boring.

A very uninspired face design. If their Morrigan looks like this then they are doing the favor of saving me money.

Between this and Blue Mary, I'm not impressed with the faces on the women figures so far.

It's because they weren't counting on anyone looking at her faces!

Looks good to me, not sure I'm in for $105 though.

Feels like that applies to most Storm releases. Funny enough, the one character Id easily make an exception for, Raiden, isn't in '98.

I was actually pleasantly surprised when Kano was put up for PO at $80. I was wondering if BBTS's distribution actually would bring down the price a few bucks but doesn't seem like it.

I'm glad I went with Degenerator Industry's Mai instead of this boring thing.

Agree with most. It's okay. Some very slight details and proportion issues for me, tends to be my criticism with Storm's female offerings.
Softer materials would go a long way for this character and could use a few more (apt) accessories/effects pieces. Hope they make improvements in the future, Mai does go across a number of fighting game titles.

Exactly what I was thinking... And I'm not saying she should be suuuuper busty, but a little bit more...

Yeah, I agree that this is 'off' in some way. Kinda boring. And the faces are really 'eh,' especially the dead and lifeless eyes. This thing looks like a cheap blow-up sex doll turned into an action figure.

Kind of amazed she's so skinny, has a smaller breast size, and has a bad selection of heads.

I'm guessing they're trying to base it off of the really old SNK art? But Mai should be thicker than this in many ways.

Also disappointing she doesn't have the thong. The old SNK vs. Capcom figure did, even. Which is still my "Go To" 7" Mai at this point, I guess.

Ah yes, the old Shinkiro artwork. I do see a resemblance and I am a fan of his work, but I think Storm should have gone for a more pure Anime-style with Mai's faces in this instance.

I was really hoping to see 2 more points of articulation on Mai.
