I had been hoarding DC figs for a while, finally opened them a while back. Ran some pics, and then never posted them. :/

Included was the PP Flash wave Cold and Heatwave. I thought both were great sculpts, but needed more paint, they felt unfinished. Thought about paying to get a wash done locally, but opted for some photoshop weathering. Experimented with it, results came out ok I think.

However, I think this GL version is better, and you know, actually real. :)

Looks Nice ;^)

I recently picked up Captain Cold and Heatwave at my local Target. I totally agree that they're both awesome figures that could use a few more paint apps, but whatever. Still great for $20.

Heat wave kinda reminds me of the locust from gears of war.

I was thinking discount/bootleg Shockwave from Transformers.
