Just the Elektra Daredevil is a sure purchase me.

Tarantula is a maybe, but I don't need him.

And I'll wait for a more classic re-release of Spider-Woman.

VashTS 03-09-2023 11:43 AM

These don't look good. No great paints or new sculpting.

Everything looks cheap.

Zigerlion 03-09-2023 11:58 AM

This is just sad. They didn't even get Ben's costume right. The spider legs are supposed to frame the deltoid with a sharp line but they cheaped out with just some unpainted black plastic. If they went with the other comic version, as shown on the cardboard printed right next to the figure, then the spider legs are supposed to go up to the shoulders. The boots are supposed to have a sharp V shaped groove in the front, and the costume is also missing the black patch on the gloves. On top of that, they gave him a goofy shaped big eyed head. So many inaccuracies. Those minor details can't cost that much money to produce accurately. Tragedy of a figure.

That Miles outfit looks terrible. Why the hell does he have a hoodie now?

firmpulse 03-09-2023 12:33 PM

They killed it with Elektra Daredevil. That figure is GREAT.

Cuz they want to make it apparent that he's black and associated with the hood/ghetto./Jk His og suit got trashed fighting his clone in MMSM#28 and decided to wear this ugly thing in the next issue. I guess they wanted to differentiate his look from his clones, who were wearing his old costume. He's still wearing this costume that no one wants in the newest issues.

mangkanorxxv 03-09-2023 12:53 PM

Ben Reilly's head looks weird.

deecee4 03-09-2023 12:59 PM

Most of the spidey heads look weird...like something from a kid's line.

Black Arbor 03-09-2023 01:14 PM

Looking at that lineup... Too much red, should've included a primarily green or yellow character (if the Human Fly hadn't been part of a 5 pack he would've been perfect!)

Thatannoyingguy 03-09-2023 01:41 PM

$26? Really? That’s wildly overpriced especially since they come with very few accessories, and no BAF part.

I’ll get Tarantula that comes with nothing, then I’m done with Marvel Legends.

goliathfasa 03-09-2023 02:11 PM

They can't even get their face paint done correctly on that Jessica. Can't even get paint right on their prototype publicity shots.

StudioOneTwelve 03-09-2023 02:47 PM

That Miles costume is a tragedy. What's up with the insane Ben Reilly head? Also, this look would have been better if they had gone with a brighter blue instead. This whole wave is pretty gald-darn disappointing.

It would be nice to get a classic Spider-Woman on the new, appropriately articulated femame buck they showed off on the recent livestream.

Hasbro 03-09-2023 06:41 PM

Unless these were made in low quantities, I believe these will hang around for clearance prices. So many D-listers, and lame costume variations here. Only ones that might be hard to get by years end is that Daredevil and Spider-Woman.

Skoob 03-09-2023 08:41 PM

These don't exactly seem detail-intensive, but that said, I want a Tarantula just for nostalgia's sake.

Off topic -- Here's a question for the experts out there: Has anybody ever seen figures based on the characters created by Red Circle Comics back in the 1950s? I'd love to see a nice figure of Tommy Troy as The Fly, but it would have to be a decent job, not just crap. If I knew how to 3D print, I'd make one myself.

I think Habro is dumping these knowing they will not sell well. Typically it takes 9 months to implement a new Biz strategy.

This is a transition. Wave. Toy sales are sluggish and will, I theorize, move to a more retro packaging for more and more of their products.

Since ESG isnt being funded by Blackrock, I think we will see a lot of peg warmers until the fall.
