A-Team type rubber strap, please help ID

Hi guys,
Picked up a collection of 1980s Galoob 6" A-Team figures with Accessories and in the collection was this mystery part. This black rubber strap is the same size as the 3" strap for the black rifles but it doesn't have the standard attachment holes at the tip of each end. Instead, it has two pegs that look like they fit inside something. This part is also made of the same rubbery plastic as all of the other A-Team straps. Any help to ID this strap is greatly appreciated. Thanks again guys!

Looks like the hose to the propane gas tank accessory that came with the command center playset.

Thanks! Any photos of the Welding tanks with this hose attached? I googled it and can't find a photo of that piece anywhere!
