Im getting all the Marvel Universe stuff. Thor, Spidey, Cap and Galactus

ludovicotek 07-25-2010 12:08 PM

I'm looking to get both Slaughters, Galactus, Spider-Man, Thor and Cap. Thinking about Autobot Blaster but still not sure. I missed Soundwave from last year and haven't stopped kicking myself in the ass. Blaster is not quite as cool but I still might end up getting him.

Just to be clear, the variant Slaughter is the one in the camo pants?

Johnnyakiba 07-25-2010 12:08 PM

I was shocked at the Spidey...

Really cool that they added him in there.

It was really left feild for me.

Yes. The variant is the Military version. Primary is the Wrestling version.

I DID THE SAME...

I should have bought Soundwave when I had the chance.

Not sure how much is entirely accurate, but I have some insider info about this...

He was going to be part of the Spider-Man 4 toy line, but since the movie got scrapped the line did as well. Spidey was one of the first figures in development and was pretty much done, at least this version of Spidey. Instead of letting him go completely to waste they decided to sell him as an exclusive. The Spider-Man reboot is going to have some different designs so this figure will not fit in that line. Again, not sure how accurate my source is, but there you have it.

Runamuck 07-25-2010 12:13 PM

Didn't see this thread before making my post in the other one. Can anyone order me what I want, and I'll pay you before or after you do so? Because I don't think I'll be around when this stuff goes up online.

Tarquinius 07-25-2010 12:13 PM

So who wants to take bets on the time these things launch?

TheSymbiote 07-25-2010 12:16 PM

I'm definitely gonna open it but I'm keep the packaging and what not.

jamesmruddy 07-25-2010 12:23 PM

I may just have to skip my meds tonight (if the nurse will let me) so I can stay up and keep watch.

Hmm thats interesting. Its a shame though I would have liked to see that line happen because it looks like they had some interesting articulation going down with those double elbows and what not

Good call.

I'm gonna buy the SDCC one for the regular variant and then I'm gonna buy th boxed purple variant so I get both and I get both the fury card and silver surfer

Prem1x 07-25-2010 12:37 PM

Did anyone take pics of the retail Galatus' Silver Surfer, just to confirm he's chrome-vac'd?

SDCC Galactus comes with a fury card and no surfer. Galactus himself is the same

Retail Galactus comes with surfer no card, same Galactus

And then you have the variant who is like the retail but a different galactus
