Recently acquired this with a a bundle of other toys, but can not work out what its from. Any ideas?

Looks like a samurai. I'm guessing he's around 12 inches. But that doesn't narrow down net searches much.

I was thinking he might be from Batman The Dark Knight?
Any markings on him under his clothes?
