I’m going to go out on a limb and say that the costume choice for Moondragon indicates her classic look is a no-go.

EvilMonkeyPope 05-10-2023 11:14 AM

Does Moondragon dress like this now or is it just a video game costume?

VashTS 05-10-2023 11:28 AM

At least she has cleavage, but sometimes I do wonder if thise working at Hasbro have seen actual breasts?

They create female chests in all sorts of uncommon shapes, squares and rectangles...and rarely circular and round.

TheBlueMarvel 05-10-2023 11:38 AM

This is exactly the fan service I want. Marvelous job, Hasbro, I’m happy with everything about this including the choice in depictions. Hasbro is doing some cool things with these two packs and I’m looking forward to a continuation of this format. This is far better than the appearance of stretch characters/looks within waves and a great way to gauge interest and fill out teams.

TheBlueMarvel 05-10-2023 11:45 AM

Do Maxam and Pip next, Legends Team! Offset the tooling budget for a larger fig with a tiny fan favorite that’s has been requested for years.

Really? Which Hasbro Marvel female chests are squares and rectangles?

lordbest 05-10-2023 11:48 AM

Perfection, definite must-have for me

ThorOdinson123 05-10-2023 11:52 AM

I wanted Moondragon but in a two pack with her girlfriend Phyla-Vel. But cool to see classic comic Drax.

It’s from the comics.

This is what Moondragon and Drax looked like when I collected comics in the 80s. Are these also skins in a video game? I am unaware.

You obviously haven't seen the Marvel Legends Boxboob and Rectangle Chest two pack that came out some time ago.
No need to Google it, they are totally real.
Honest.

Wow man, I had almost forgotten about that version of Drax lol. Very nice!

Wish it was this version of moondragon but not gonna happen.

Zigerlion 05-10-2023 02:57 PM

Yep, should have had this version of Moondragon to go with that Drax from Infinity Watch.

Why did they give Moondragon cleavage when they totally covered up Madelyn Pryor's in the Haslab?

tierneygreen 05-10-2023 02:59 PM

When I saw the notification from Pulse pop up on my phone, I was in the middle of a video conf for work. Man...the fools on that call couldn't shut up fast enough. This is indeed a most pleasant surprise, all around. I'm totally diggin' it.

ghostbogey 05-11-2023 02:19 AM

Old School....
Moondragon & Drax...

Got it Right...

"this time" IMHO ;^)

That is some terrible artwork, there. The proportions on the women are especially hideous.

Gamora looks like she's trying with all her might to squeeze out the mother of all turds and Moondragon looks like a 7-foot tall Shaolin monk with a teeny, tiny little head.

Must be Rob Liefeld.

TheBlueMarvel 05-11-2023 02:52 PM

It's Angel Medina's art.

Lol dang. I'm willing to bet he just did loose layouts and an inker finished it.

Though a cursory Google makes it seem those Henry Cavill arms are all him. :D

Zigerlion 05-11-2023 10:17 PM

No one mentioned the toes? Why were all the females on their tiptoes with their malformed feet? That said, I still love my oldschool 90s horrible comics.

What I mean is none of the mark making on that image looks like it was done by his hand. Whoever finished this did their own style of rendering and also doesnt understand how drapery works and how to draw it. All signs of an inferior inker getting a bare bones sketch and having to work from that. Ive seen enough of his art to know even if it was "officially" all him, it actually wasn't.

Yeah, I agree. It took me a minute to figure out who the artist was and what you suggest might've been one of the reasons for that. It also looks like it wasn't meant to be blown up like that; an inset for a smaller panel.
