Dark Horse Direct EX Doom Slayer
Well it looks better than both McFarlane and Mafex versions. Being at 1/6th scale that's expected. Too bad I don't collect this size.
1/6 Doom Slayer!!!...
Nice..... Real Nice.. Not a must have... for me. Not "pressed" at all.. for The Slayer... However.. The price "could".. Swing me ;^) |
Nice! Didn't know Dark Horse were still making figures.
This… looks…. Awesome! With it being Mondo, I wish they’d have a pixelated “classic doom guy” head sculpt. Oh well.
He’s in the same pose in all but one of the promo shots. 32 points of articulation where?

Overall, I'm really not impressed considering it's a $300 figure. It looks super-plastic-y and some of the weapons are vastly out of scale and way too small, like the teeny-tiny little Crucible and Plasma Gun. Even the BFG looks a little undersized. Meanwhile, the extended Arm Blade is like 3X longer than it should be. Nah, hard pass. I'll stick with the Figma Doom Slayer, thanks. |
