Mondo SDCC Exclusives
 

Since the release of Deluxe He-Man Mondo has been killing it with their MOTU figures. I'm actually relieved I don't "need" this Adam figure. But it's very well done. They got me with Skeletor though.

He Man looks like he had some good drugs.

I do not get it, these are very specific figures that every fan of these shows would want. Why make them exclusives? And especially a weird thing when they do not have a dedicated toyline for these series...
Man-Bat is nice, love that they included both the horrific half-transformed face for Langstrom, as well as the clothing and sad face to use for the second Man-Bat who was his wife, but 255$ is a little too steep. The DC Collectibles one lacks arm articulation and is hard to pose, but you can get that a lot cheaper. Sticking with that one

So they will cloth up he-man but not magneto?

These are are usually sold outside the Con too, I ordered their laying down Wolverine. But anyway, outside of Man-Bat, they're alternate versions. I know a MOTU collector who was glad it was Prince Adam since he didn't want him.

I was surprised at the soft goods too, but I guess since they're not cell shaded like the X-Men, couldn't do Magneto like that and have it fit in.

When Hasbro raised their prices and released that awful animated series line with low effort, this line by Mondo is what stared me towards 1/6.

The accessories are well worth it. Still a high price....but instead of feeling unhappy with a hasbro figure, I feel happy with the Mondo.

I guess it's quality vs quantity.

Just got an email from Mondo. Battle Cat should be in our hands mid-August AW YEAH!

I agree. Take the new Skeletor for instance. Same price as Deluxe He-Man but, with even more accessories that I actually like and will use. Not a bunch crap that will sit in a bin. Like eluxe He-Man he's basically 3 figures in 1. (4 if you count Terror Claws)

I'm not really interested in the figures, but just got an email from Mondo about all of their exclusives.

I'm going Thursday, Friday, and Sunday. Of course Saturday is when they'll have the Godzilla posters.

1/6 Battle Cat news!!!!...

"We're excited to let you know Battle Cat is almost here! The figure will land at our warehouse by the end of July.
We're going to take a couple of weeks to inspect it, receive it, and then it'll be ready to ship out.
You can expect your order to ship in mid-August."
