I wish they left the Remnant Troopers helmet completely attached. In the promotional pics it was intact.

Is it possible your figure is an exception?

So while I was handling, shooting it, I thought that the detached flaps were on purpose. But afterward I noticed a patch that looks like detached glue, so it's possible that was not on purpose.

Luckily with this one, the detached flaps make sense to the rest of figure. But either way, a small dab of crazy glue would fix it up.
