So, NECA won't invest in an Ultimate Snake Plissken or Herbert West and the Wolf Predator has been on the back burner for years now, but they release THIS shit? Seriously, who the fuck on Earth wanted a Bon Jovi action figure?

I immediately thought the same thing when I saw it. Can't make ultimate Plissken, but they will waste tooling budget on this shit.

I'm not really surprised that they think one of the biggest rock stars of the 80's will outsell a random predator.

lol absolutely not joking, they've made many music figures in the past to obvious success. I don't see why this wouldn't be successful. NECA is in every Target in the US, random shoppers will be more likely to pick up Bon Jovi over Snake Plissken, despite however much you or I would rather the latter.

This was a surprise. I hope this a prelude for Ultimate figures of other famous musicians. The list I have is long. With this release, we're halfway there...

We'll see how it plays out I guess but right now their music offerings feel random....ac/dc,willie Nelson & whoever else in mego style, the freddie mercury reissue which was basically a staction and now this. If this was the start of something consistent, that could be amazing. I have a long list as well.

It would be great. I'm tempted by that and their Elvis but being plastic statues holds me off. I want action figures.
