Not sure who the target audience is since the original series fans are in their senior years or dead. Nichelle Nichols death didn't even garner much attention last year. RIP. How many younger generation of Trekkies would be interested in her Bishoju figure/

I'm in my 30s and my two fav Trek series are TOS and DS9. But my personal feelings aside, TOS is still the most consistently merchandised show of the bunch. The TOS Ent seems to get a new model every other year while the Ent-D hasn't had a new kit since the '90s, just repops, so that shiz must still be outselling the 24th century stuff enough to keep getting priority the way it does.

Cool, I'm a TNG and Voyager fan myself but I don't buy Star Trek stuff, only got one Voyager replica, so I don't know that TOS is the most popular.

I can definitely confirm that TOS is still the most popular Star Trek, CBS has repeatedly tried to connect Discovery and the other newer shows to the original series and failed miserably. Unfortunately, a lot of the TNG cast ruined the show's mystique with their loud mouths on Twitter and other psychotic behavior. Contrary to what CBS says, everything after Voyager is an alternate universe. There's some interal legal stipulation that changing TOS in any way is strictly off-limits, it's the 25% rule all of the youtubers talked about. TOS is the only reliable cash cow for CBS and any change would cause a financially catastrophic revolt for them.
