Were These A Special Toys "R" Us Promo?
5 Attachment(s)
Hello All!
I'd like to find out more about these sets I found if anyone is able to lend a hand. Based on the toys alone they seem to be from Mattel's line of Atlantis die-cast vehicle figures. However, I can't find anything about the surrounding packaging and it definitely doesnt match the standard boxes the toys usually came int. The Toys "R" US logo on the comic leads me to believe these particular versions might have been promos of some kind. Would anyone be able to confirm this? Many Thanks! Anna |
Hello.
I would like to express my opinion based on the Toys R Us logo on the comic. The fact that all these objects come in a box makes us think that it is a special launch edition for Toys R Us. The fact that the toy is in a bag seems to support this. The toys prepared for sale were put on the market in hard plastic. When I look at the brochures and other visuals, I think it is a mini promotional set. It is difficult to say that I have come across an example in my research on the internet. Maybe I can help you more if you photograph individual objects in more detail and up close. By the way, this set looks really nice. :) |
