SDCC 2024 - Jada Toys Street Fighter, Cyberpunk and Scooby-Doo

Looks like they also got a Shaggy figure. Jada toys has now moved up to my favorite company.

At first I was like "wow that's a lot of a Cyberpunk diorama for just 2 figures," and then I saw Rebecca's shotguns in the back. Really hope that this is a legitimate tease for more Edgerunners figures already being planned, specifically Kiwi and Rebecca.

Gotta say vega does not look good. Hes too squat and chunky. Thawk and cammy and sagat look absolutely flawless.

There was an interview with the guy from Jada (his name has completely left my brain suddenly) where he said Rebecca was his favourite and that more figures would follow if the first wave sold enough.

So now we need Honda, Zangief, and Akuma to finish the Super SF2 line. While they're at it, give us Cody, Guy and Haggar too for Final Fight.

I saw on other sites that they added Zangief and E Honda to their SF display while the Cyberpunk display was updated to include Maine and Rebecca. I liked Maine but I don't know how likely I am to get his figure when the David is post-Maine. I'm definitely in for Rebecca, granted Lucy and David haven't even gone up for pre-order yet. Hopefully Kiwi isn't too far behind.

I don't even know how to process this other than saying I'm all in. Someone is finally making a 6' Scooby Doo line and that's just the greatest thing ever.

Maine and Rebecca! YES!!! I don't care about Street Fighter or Mega Man. Or Scooby-Doo for that matter. But I am all in on their Cyberpunk figures, I can't wait to get my hands on them. Hopefully they finish the crew by giving us Pilar, Dorio and Kiwi in the future. Also an early season David before he got jacked would be great as well. These look fantastic!!

That akuma is the shit! And everyone but vega looks great. Vega should be taller and lankier.

Now I gotta buy the whole damn set lol. I hope they toss in a Final Fight line, I would love Cody, Guy and Haggar in that style.

Akuma looks great. It's so crazy they've basically finished the Ultra Street Fighter II cast now. Can't wait to seem them move into characters from sequels like 6, Alpha, IV and III.

Excited to see them all, Vega is a little too thicc and squat. Guessing Shin Akuma could be SDCC 2025 Exclusive to follow the trend so far.

Jun from Jada mentioned they would like to branch out into other games. Based on that 2018 Capcom popularity poll I expect to see Sakura, Makoto, Juri, Q, and Cody early on. It would be nice if they could also squeeze in the Main Final Fight Cast and some bosses/enemies.

Really like what Jada has managed to do with action figures.

If only they could have made the Mimmy while the had the universal monsters license

Those Scooby Doo figures look better than they have any right to be.
The monsters have both the Scooby Doo wackiness and a level of disturbing look about them. And I can't believe how articulated they are.

I would have liked it if the energy coming from Akuma was more transparent, but that could be just the early stage of the figure, or a trick of the camera, or I may not even care when I get him.

Assuming Jada has the license to do more characters, I wonder if they will pick and choose certain characters or if they will try to give us all the characters from a particular game.

Alpha, IV and V would largely be new versions of the same 17 characters they just released.
III would be great, but it's a risk to try to do the entire cast.
I can't imagine Necro and Twelve figures selling very well, although I have no doubt Jada could make great figures of them.
