Fury Files Daredevil Marvel Classics 2009

To me Daredevil was always a cool character in the Marvel Universe. I am glad we get to see his classic look in wave 1 and overall I think the Hasbro Marvel Team did a good job at selecting the body type to fit the style. There is only 1 accessory included, his nunchucks. We need more weapons!

Overall score is 7 out of 10 for a solid and safe classic design with standard articulation.

Daredevil looks wicked. I'd love to see the yellow version too.

Alyosha 12-14-2008 02:11 PM

Nice and clean. A good looking overall design, and as you pointed out nothing too daring. Good stuff!

Flint 12-14-2008 02:13 PM

Well Ally, you know what they say, less is more.

With this figure and the Wolverine I would agree, when it comes to body design.

I know you want them to come with more weapons, but some characters don't really need them. Now the Punisher, well he should have a whole armory. But Daredevil could get away with a nunchuck but i with he would have had his grapple-cane instead.

Should have both IMO. Still a great figure out of the least favorite body type from wave 1.

Always liked the classic look. Looking forward to seeing him on the pegs (hopefully sooner than March).

It would be nice if he came with more variants to his weapon, since it has a lot of built-in gadgets (like the grapnel hook) that should be represented at some point. Maybe with a

Nice. I definitely would have liked to see more accessories. I think that for figures like DD, where he uses various weapons, it is important to give him those weapons. But a guy like Wolverine, you don't really need many accessories. Except maybe interchangeable fists (open and closed), masked/unmasked head, etc. But maybe that's asking too much of Hasbro...

TheLoudMaster 12-14-2008 03:40 PM

Sweet. DD is looking sharp. Can't wait to get that new Deadpool so they can duke it out.

Shin Densetsu 12-14-2008 03:44 PM

I wish he had his billy club, and a place to store his weapons on his leg. I wish the neck wasn't so high too.

I hope they retire this mold real quick. I'm also real glad I've got a DD custom already (yeah, yeah; I know I whore them out a lot). The shoulders are too far down on the torso. Raising them up would eliminate the long neck and short abdomen problem this mold suffers from.

Are those nunchucks in your hands, or are you just happy to see me?

DD is always a great simple design that when done right absolutely shines! This isn't too bad, there's certainly been worse versions of him.

Optimus Scourge 12-14-2008 06:24 PM

I agree some more accessories would be nice, I dunno, it isn't terrible, but it is just too "plain" for me.

Agreed, Union Jack suffers from the same thing.

Shouldn't be surprising since they're the same mold, lulz. Same goes for Bullseye.

I didn't realize that.
