Post your prefix suggestions here!

Each thread in this forum must have a "prefix" chosen before it can be posted. This is to help sort them for people looking only for specific things (new/vintage/etc).

We have what we think is needed available to you, but if you think a new prefix should be added to further help sort things out, post your suggestions in this thread.

We will look it over and make it available if we and the fans think it's necessary.

Thanks!

One for Fate/Stay Night would be nice...

...as would one for Gundam, too.

Gundam I was thinking would go in the Transformers and Robots sub-forum.

As for anything else, yeah just post away, I know the default selection of stuff there now may not be that good. We will definitely need some help with the Japanese only Anime lines that are popular and out there.

I really think that splitting TFs and non-TF mechanoids (like Gundams and others) would be a good idea - not least when it comes to covering characters that are in the latter that have humanoid figures.

Or should figures of human (or non-human) characters in series like Gundam 00 go here anyway?

- Gashapon Toys / Capsule Toys / Trading Figures (this could be a good catch all for most JDM anime toys under 5" in height without needing a thousand-billion tags for each anime series by name.)
- Anime Figure Models and Large Scale PVCs (for the modellers and collectors, much larger scales than the gashapno/capsule/trading figs)
- Robotech / Macross
- Masamune Shirow (Ghost in the Shell, Appleseed, and a whole host of other things)
- Other MECHA - Non Transformers, Non Gundam, Non Macross (for big machines and robots not connected to "The Big 3." Would this also go in the TF and Robots section?)

Those are some general ones, the problem with anime is that there is so much out there. I lived in Japan and got to know the backrooms of hobby shops... it's nuts and it's endless. I think we could fill half the bandwidth here with the names of different series and that would just make things more confusing. Some things like Robotech and Ghost in the Shell are much more popular here in USA/Canada so they might need their own tags. I think Gundam might end up in the anime section for reasons of human characters and storylines. Lots of "robot" lines have so much of a human element it's hard to draw the line. It's a really tough call.

my 2 cents for my 2nd post!

I like this one. I was actually wondering that just now. I collect some of these, myself.

Thinking we need a tag for Evangelion.

Revoltech Frauleins
Figma
MMS/Busou Shinki (Although you can make an argument Shinki belong in Robots)
