X-Men Origins Wolverine New Pics

New pics show articulation of ball joint. Other Marvel figures are better at this. The ball joint is not as move around. Fury Files have better articulation, both have good looks to sculpt. Enjoy pics I gave to toyark for collectors like me.

They both look and seem to move pretty good.

They'll both certainly be in my collection next year. Thanks for pics.

Great new pictures!

Looks like the "25th/Fury Files style" articulation wins out over the "6" style" ball joint. Time will tell what the standard becomes. I vote for Fury Files!

HongKongPhooey, are you talking about the abdominal ball joint, or the joints on the hips? Just wondering if the harness/holster is the culprit for blocking abdominal movement.

Hips-leg ball joint is bad, you can not bend leg as good.

I'm leaning for the Fury Files articulation as well. These figures look awesome. I will be poor very soon.

Nah, both styles of hip joints can move equally well. What's preventing Team X from moving his hips as much as X-Force is simply because the pelvis is sculpted so far down over the ball hip, and the thigh is sculpted so far high up it. There's simply not that much clearance for the joint to move before the thigh hits the pelvis. But frankly, he's wearing a lot of body armor so he shouldn't be able to move great degrees anyway.

More importantly - is the helmet removeable or not?

AdrienVeidt 12-16-2008 08:49 PM

Oh, yeah; what about the pistol; is it removeable as well?

Optimus Scourge 12-16-2008 09:42 PM

Wow. Do want!

trebleshot 12-16-2008 09:47 PM

Nice pics, HKP!

I'm getting more and more psyched for next year. I think my wallet may have go into hiding just to survive 2009!

Shin Densetsu 12-16-2008 10:26 PM

Hey was the Team X version ever shown in black and gold, or is it just similar to the black and gold spy costume that Wolverine was seen wearing in the flashbacks with Sabretooth or Maverick?

deceptifocus 12-16-2008 11:02 PM

ugh, why do they have to change scales once they start making better figures? these would KILL in 6" scale for me

his face is kind of too werewolf looking to me tho

Hey man you never know, there is a deluxe figure listing in the computers too, I think it is in the $10 price range give or take....I think it is for 6" Marvel Legends style movie figures.

deceptifocus 12-16-2008 11:34 PM

yeah i saw which one youre talking abt, its kind of weird though to have a whole line of figs, and only one is 6" and the others are all 3.75" but if they make it, i will buy it heh

AdrienVeidt 12-17-2008 04:46 AM

Personally, I think the Deluxe figs are for maybe 2packs or a guy + a bike or something; not ML figs. But, Hasbro's supposed to have some announcement today, most likely about these very figs; so anything's possible.

But having 2 scales of figs at the same time might be fairly new for Hasbro, other companies have done it quite a bit.

Not at all, Hasbro is doing this right now by having their 12" and 3-3/4" G.I. Joe figures available at the same time, they've one this before with G.I. Joe and Star Wars.

deceptifocus 12-17-2008 06:29 PM

Hasbro had a few 12" scale figs for marvel too, plus the Unleashed figs are on like a 9 or 10" scale, then youve got the selects that are like 7"s.... so yeah, theyve got lotsa scales

MegaPrime33 12-18-2008 03:43 PM

Why does he look like a werewolf?

AdrienVeidt 12-18-2008 04:19 PM

Have you seen what his momma looks like?

Phooey, what's up, man? Are the helmet and pistol removeable?
