Nice looking figures, and it's nice to see Jun in figure form, but I'll probably stick to the McFarlane figures, tbh (series 3 will probably have Jun in it). Especially since I plan on buying a couple extra figures to make my own custom Spartan.

However if I was going to make a display similar to the Legendary Edition statue, I'd probably go with these. Seem to be more detailed, and more along the lines of a collectors series. While the McFarlane figures, as far as I can tell, should be able to take more ware and tare.

Anyone know the height of these figures?

ciberw0lf 08-23-2010 04:53 PM

Looks like these wont have the poseablity issue I have with the McFarlane figures, double jointed knees and more clearance on the elbow joint

86typer 08-30-2010 10:50 AM

Fierce Krypton 08-30-2010 08:38 PM

its possible they will be sold at retail, only at TRU because they also sell final fantasy and kingdom hearts figures

can't believe i'm defending mcfarlane but the reach figures are wayyyyyy better than previous the halo toys.... i got the jorge aka armored turtle figure and I am pretty impressed. that being said i'm all about these pay arts versions!

Fierce Krypton 11-07-2010 11:15 PM

Just a cool Japanese pose by the Japanese guy taking the pictures. :) The articulation on these are usually excellent, so I wouldn't worry about that being your only choice. Just a creative decision by the photographer.

BACK FROM THE OLD TOPIC GRAVEYARD

So these are out now, does anyone have one? I want to get Emile so bad... I keep trying to convince myself that $50 is a perfectly normal amount of money to spend on a toy. This would be by far the most expensive fig I own, I don't have any Hot Toys or anything like that. One side of my brain is telling me it's a waste of money while the other side is screaming BUT IT LOOKS SO AWESOME

sabretoothe 02-02-2011 09:51 AM

on eof my co workers brought in his noble six last month....it was very awesome.

GogDog 03-13-2011 06:10 PM

Got Noble Six.

I have Kat on the way and I'm super stoked. Like all the other PAK figures I have, this is a damn amazing figure, and worth $50 IMO. But that's not a lot to play for a toy to me. :)

Gog what's the quality like? Is it fairly durable, and would you recommend this line?
