Probably they have figures from past waves in the assortments as well.

ersico 08-31-2010 10:24 AM

aww.....iron man haz a sad, and hawkeye has a happy :)

Prem1x 08-31-2010 12:56 PM

Lester's (Hawkeye's) face should have been more menacing. Too happy looking. Hopefully there's a surprise unmasked version for this Dark Avenger too. People would scramble to buy one to stick on their Bullseyes.

TheSymbiote 08-31-2010 01:25 PM

can someone explain to us why they dont just pack 2 heads in 1 box?
like iron man + tony stark head or spider-man + peter parker head.we know its just to get us to buy more but come on, WTF

Evantainment 08-31-2010 05:09 PM

At least they didn't make us buy Ant Man separately!

I had the same reaction when I found out spring 2011 Snake Eyes won't come with both heads.

=(

I think it's perfect. "Dark" Hawkeye was at his best when he had that sinister smile on his face.

Yeah, wave 3 SE has either his classic ninja head or the OG Commando face... I was sorely disappointed too because that figure is damn near perfect.

And I will echo whoever said that Bullseye Hawkeye looks far too happy. He should be more evil looking. I plan on grabbing whatever bald dude I can, carving a bullseye into his forehead and just have a maskless version.

I don't know about that. I have the two best SE of all time already(CS and Rescue Mission)... I mean, I'm sorely disappointed in the way that a guy who already has the greatest Joe ever made (CS Beachhead) could be disappointed. :p

Because then we wouldn't buy as many :P

So, I definitely want to get Constrictor and the Tasky/DP SHS pack. Mystique, Thanos and D.Hawkeye would be nice as well. IM2020 I might get just because that suit reminds me of Metal Man from Mega Man 2.

But that Wolverine....bleh.

Sounds like a Hasbro Q&A question to me.

Hasbro only cares about maximizing profits. They know that the collectors (like me and you) are stupid enough to buy the same toy with a small change like: a new head, paint color, arm guard, and whatever else they can change on the fly (cheap) to milk their most loyal base of every penny they have. Instead of recognizing that the Marvel Universe line and their jobs would not exists if not for committed fans and collectors like us, that buy more than parents who buy for their children, who promote the line and buy for friends and family strengthening their customer base by introducing what most parents see as just another peg warmer to a new audience that would most likely be playing with some other line of toys had it not been for our efforts. I've been collecting since the 90's and since then I've spent more than I can imagine and hooked cousins, nephews, friends and more. My interest alone has brought These lines thousands and thousands of dollars over the years, and I'm sure it's the same for many of you. Most kids do not read comics, don't even know that these toys exists. A friend brings his son to my place and the kid is instantly a fan just after having seen my collection on display. And what's the thanks we get from Hasbro?

1: Still no stands for our first year figures and two packs.

2: Still the same female mold thats been used for every single female figure released and shown for future release. Somewhat sexist if you ask me.

3: The continued practice of short packing figures making it impossible in some cases to complete waves without turning to the inflated prices of ebay.

4: the generic variants that only change small things that should be offered with the original figure at release.

5: Where's the build a figure concept?

6: How about some basses, play-sets, and vehicles already! Isn't that the point of 3 1/2" figures line?

7: Making us buy a $50.00 subscription just to get one little figure. When the Fury Files came online I thought by entering the codes from each figure you would gain points towards promotions. Kind of like mailing off proof of purchases back in the 80's. Stupid me for ever thinking that would happen.

8: One of my biggest issues, SCALE! I don't care about the tricky manufacturing process or what ever else you want to blame this constant problem on. FIX IT! It's not a manufacturing issue when you decide to use the DD mold for Magneto! You know it's a small mold, and you should know that Magneto is not a small character. Simple solution, pay attention!

9: The Q & A from Hasbro. They tell you what you can and can't ask, they give you answers that never come to be. They are rude and disingenuous to the fans. Why not just put out a press-release telling us what you want us to know, instead of making us think that you really care about us by pretending to listen to us.

10: Poor quality control & customer service. I went through 4 Namors before getting one that had the right configuration of parts. This has happened time and time again. I bought the last wave off Hasbro.com and found my wrecker missing an arm! when i sent it back they took over a month to send me a figure I already had. That's just bull!

I continue to support Hasbro and have most every figure from the MU, XMO and IM lines. I am not just complaining for the sack of doing so, I only do so in the hopes that Hasbro will see that there's room for improvement. Throw us a bone Hasbro. We are worth your wooing...

The one thing I would do if I was hasbro would be to offer a collectors program, that would allow collectors to sign up for a pre paid plan that would allow us to get all our figures as soon as they are released. And offer promos and special offers from time to time.

What do you think? Am I being unreasonable, or do the points I made above resonate with also?

trebleshot 09-01-2010 01:14 PM

Railing against Hasbro is not really on-topic for this thread, especially when you started a another thread with the exact same post.

synapse17 09-01-2010 01:37 PM

You're a Nazi about posts man! Other people started commenting on Hasbro's shortcomings before I did. Just because I made a list you want to tell me I'm somehow out of line. And yes I did start another thread. Writing that comment made me want to start a discussion on peoples opinions about the very things they were talking about before I even logged on. I said I support Hasbro, I think buying 98% of three of their lines gives me some knowledge of their products and some room to say what it is that I like and dislike. In a day or so I'll write a thread about why I like Hasbro and why it is that I spend over $1000.00 annually on their products.

It's OK to criticize things you support and enjoy. Sometimes it actually leads to its getting better.

Seriously, that's disgusting and completely uncalled for. I hope the mods don't let that slide.

On topic, that Hawkeye is seriously creepy. That grin creeps me the hell out. Iron Man 2020 would look pretty cool if it weren't for those ridiculous gears sticking out on the hips and shoulders.

Thanos looks pretty badass, and Mystique is sexy as hell (for a tiny piece of plastic...).

It would be nice to see more of the MU figures have the same hips as the Wolverine figure there, though. There's just too much limitation in the standard ball-jointed hips for my liking. Granted, I only have a MU Ult. Cap and Iron Man, but Cap has a bitch of time getting any decent leg poses going. At least through in a thigh cut, instead of the calf cut.

You can say bitch but I can't say Nazi? Really! I just meant that he was strict. I'm not Sarah Palin talking about the President.

I completely agree. However, I felt that some of your criticisms were off-base and I addressed them in the other thread. I don't want anyone to think my opinions are the be-all-end-all on any topic. After all, they are my opinions. But a lot of what I said was grounded in fact or at least based on logical reasoning and extrapolation.

Drop it, both of you.

synapse17 09-02-2010 03:11 PM

I got nothing but love for all my fellow collectors! I say it like I see it and pull no punches. This is not always a good thing because as most of you have probable noticed, I can go into a bit of a rant at times. I meant no insult in any of my comments and enjoy all the comments and opinions you guys put out. I'll try and stay on topic or when venturing outside of the main topic in an effort to follow the dialogue, I'll keep it short.

RenegadeReviews 09-02-2010 06:45 PM

DO you think that Yellowjacket's... er... flaps... will be soft plastic like Nightcrawler's shoulder pads, or more rigid? If anyone saw him in person at the con, they may have a better perspective.

trebleshot 09-03-2010 05:51 AM

I'm hoping that they are made of a stiff but bendable plastic, but Hasbro has been using the soft plastic on a lot of toys recently where there might be a safety issue.

Anyone else have an idea on Yellowjacket's shoulder "wings"?
