so looking at the pics you bought 2? the large carded version then the box set with silver surfer, are you going to open them? or keep moc?
|
Keeping SDCC MOC...most likely will open this one after the move to the new place.

It's something like this that makes me laugh at a company like Mattel. They made a 19" figure (Tytus) give it less articulation than the main line, a craptacular gimmick (the hammer thing), and a somewhat simplistic if not subpar sculpt and rotocast it for that matter. They then charge $40.00 for it and then claim that if they would have added articulation or non-rotocast it then they would have had to charge $80-$100 for it.
Meanwhile, Hasbro makes a 19" Galactus, seem to give it the same articulation as the main line, a light and sound gimmick, and awesome sculpt with tons of detail and most likely poured plastic. And to top it off they're only charging $55 for it. Go Hasbro! It's difficult waiting for my Pile o. Loot to get bigger so I can finally get ahold of this guy :D |

Has everyone only been finding the classic color Galactus? And how many has everyone that has seen him, seen? He has only appeared at one of the three TRU's around me and there were only two; both were comic colored version. It sucks because I want the variant so I'm trying to hold off purchasing the classic one, but also afraid if I don't buy one now when I actually see it, I'll have to pay scalper prices later when I never see it again.

What's vac-metal?
|
BBTS doesn't have the variant in stock but you can preorder it for $55. Which is what I did since I don't want to miss it in store or pay a ton for it on ebay.
|
I have got to get me one.
|
Hopefully i'll pick up the clear surfer on e-bay hopefully (crosses fingers)

It was also used on several different series of Transformers, from G2 all the way to Henkei and Generations (look at the seat in Thrust's cockpit).
The full term is vacuumized-metal. |
