Marvel Universe Figures I would love to see.

If I was Hasbro's go to guy for character choices these would be a few of the figures you would be seeing.

1: Cable. This figure would have an all new sculpt, and would reflect his mid to late 90's bulky gun wielding days.

2: Stryfe. Can't have Cable without his crazy clone. This to should be a new mold and styled off his newer X Force look.

3: Gambit. Love the Raging Cajun. This figurer could maybe use the new Cyclopes mold coming soon. The coat should be fabric (if they could make it look right) or if plastic it should have a variant thats uncoated.

4:Omega Red. New sculpt. Can maybe use some parts from XMO Sabretooth. There should be two sets of tentacles one should be short and the other very long strong and bendy.

5: Beast: Classic fur ball.

6:Nova Prime. This figure is a must for any Marvel series. New sculpt is a must.

7: Venom. This should be a large classic looking figure. Lots of articulation and a removable tongue.

8: Galactus Heralds box set of 3 or 4.

9: Dr. Octopus. A new fat sculpt for this guy also with two sets of tentacles, one set of short arms and another set of arms long strong and bendable.

10: A super articulated Spiderman. This guy should get a new sculpt. Shorter than the black Spiderman mold but a little taller than the classic one we all have. It should have the black and red coloring maybe even come with a unmasked head in addition to the masked one.

These are just a few of the characters I would like to see pop up in the Marvel Universe.

Who would you like to see?

bad karma 09-05-2010 09:21 AM

A Wolverine / Omega Red comic two pack. Both battle torn like they were on Jim Lee's cover of X-Men #5.

Any and all characters as they appeared in The Age of Apocalypse.

The Punisher in his undercover mobster look from the 1992 War Zone series.

snake5289 09-05-2010 09:22 AM

Along with a bunch off the list in the first post I'd like Black Cat, Carnage, Emma Frost (Astonishing X-Men), Rogue, Psylocke, Angel (classic red and white costume with a blue variant), Shocker, and Lady Deathstrike. There's more but those are just off the top of my head.

luketheduke04 09-05-2010 09:29 AM

prof. x is a must with wheel chair and more villians and maybe a build a figure series

ShawnDustin 09-05-2010 11:22 AM

1. Elektra
2. Fantomex
3. Abomination
4. Armored Black Panther
5. Franken Castle
6. Ares
7. Rogue
8. Emma Frost
9. Penance

and... 10. HAL JORDAN! :D

synapse17 09-05-2010 12:06 PM

I would buy that 2 pack.

Pro X in his flight suit and floating chair.

Abomination would be awesome.

I don't think we're going to get the hundred or so characters from AOA. A Nate Grey would be nice but you can stop there as far as I'm concerned.

As many X Men as posable is always a good thing.

More villains YES!

Ares is a must.

Carnage another good one.

Great suggestions people.

bignapwheezy 09-05-2010 12:27 PM

Need more villains

- Hydra 3 pk. w/ Baron Von Strucker
- Arnim Zola
- Carnage would be awesome with removable symbiote weapons.
- Annihilus
- The Warriors Three
- Really need to get some playsets ( shield helecarrier or Castle Doom would be awesome)

ludovicotek 09-05-2010 12:41 PM

My number one choice is Dr. Strange. Really want that one bad. My number two pick would probably be Dazzler in her 80's look, with brown jacket.

Ares, Emma Frost and the Hood (Parker Robins) also top the list for me.

Ofcourse, any and all X-Men would be most welcome. Specifically Beast (non-cat, I hat the cat look), Rogue (Jim Lee style) and Gambit (XMOW version kinda sucks).

behindthemask 09-05-2010 12:43 PM

I would love to see a professor x, a new sculpted gambit, wasp, beast, rougue, x-23, a larger venom would be cool, but I did grab the 1 from the spiderman line which fits in nicely. I would love to see removeable helmets or retractable for iron man and war machine, they should add a baf feature, it would change the package layout but would be awesome, that was half the success of the marvel legends lines even if you didn't enjoy every figure you wanted to get every figure just to have the giant baf toy. ghostrider with bike, blade with bike, morpheus, mysterio, electro, and then some army builder but have like 5 hydro soilders or 5 ninjas, some vehicles would be dope, along with some weapon packs.

ludovicotek 09-05-2010 12:51 PM

^ I really hope they make some vehicles, too. They can start out small, like Ghost Rider with bike or an Avengers Quinjet. That would be awesome. X-Men Blackbird would be very cool, but would have to be big.

I know that we've talked about playsets to death, but I still really want them. An X-Men Danger Room done proper would be so sick. Avengers Tower for sure. Or any random city-style playset would be really great.

synapse17 09-05-2010 01:06 PM

What if they layered play-sets. Like the Avengers tower, It could have like 5 separate sections (floors) sold separately. You could buy the top floor which would include the roof. each section after that would be two floors until you got to street level. $24.99 each would be an OK price point. Maybe as high as $30.00 It would coast you to grow your tower but it's better to have the option. For those prices it better be cool!

That is an AWESOME idea and hey Hasbro you could include special edition figures with each set, nyah just kidding just your usual repaints of pegwarmers. LOL.

ludovicotek 09-05-2010 03:23 PM

@ Synapse, that is a great idea. There is a thread on here somewhere where a bunch of users are talking about all kinds of cool ideas for playsets. Modular playsets, like what you're describing, seemed to be the most popular idea. Just think of how cool it would be to buy environments in sections and then you could assemble them in any configuration you wanted. I have no idea why toy companies are not jumping all over this. The only thing like this that I have seen were some modular doll house rooms. Each one was a different room of a house and the you could build the house however you wanted. They even stacked on top of each other and everything. They were very kiddie/girly looking with the sculpting, otherwise I would have bought some myself. But the idea is there. It just needs to be implemented correctly.

Tarquinius 09-05-2010 04:03 PM

I like all of these ideas everybody has pitched. Vehicles, Villians other essnetial characters.

However, What I would like to see is a new scale introduced. Currently we have 3.
3.75-Regular MU
12"- GB MU
19"- MW MU

I know with some characters, they push 4" even a bit over to emphasize their size. But what I want is a 6" scale for characters which should be bigger then your typical hero but not as big as Goliath etc etc.

An example would be like Korg from the Warbound or The Watcher. I think it can be more applicable to cosmic like characters but other ones could work.

Adding in this extra scale I think would really give impact to the toyline and more flavor.

I don't know bud...that would be freakin hilarious.

synapse17 09-05-2010 07:59 PM

I don't see how it is that toy company's see a market in modular doll houses but not for action figures. It seems to me that boys would be at least as interested if not much much more so. Maybe they think we just like digging in the mud too much to care. They should just make figure backboards out of plastic with peg holes.

I'm pretty sure that if Hasbro does bring us play-sets, they'll look like they came out of the super Hero squad line.

Prove me wrong Hasbro. Do something freaking AWESOME!

jimster2010 09-05-2010 08:47 PM

ROM, Lizard, X - 23, Vulture, Professor X, Beast, Domino, and Cable.

Hmm...

Aside from the playset idea (original thread Snow mentioned is here), I would like to see the following:

1. Taskmaster
2. Deadpool (new costume, new mold, more in-scale)
3. Titania
4. T-Ray
5. Prof. X (with hoverchair, but he should be removable w/full articulation)
6. Venom (removable tongue, closing jaw or even better - swappable heads)
7. Carnage (detachable limb-weapons)
8. Beast (non-cat blue fur version)
9. Magik (removable armor)

Boxed sets (most will be redecos):
1. Original X-Men (Jean, Scott, Hank, Bobby and Warren)
2. Giant-Sized X-Men #1 (Logan, James, Piotr, Ororo, Kurt)

Of course, some of these may get a release with X-Men: First Class, especially if they continue the trend that XMOW and IM2 have started.

jamesmruddy 09-07-2010 02:32 PM
