New LEGO Venator-Class Star Destroyer
 

A new LEGO Star Wars set has been revealed, the Venator-Class Republic Attack Cruiser! (aka Venator-Class Star Destroyer, best known for its services in Star Wars continuity in the Clone Wars)

The set appears to have the distinguished Republic insignia and red styling and four gun batteries below the dual bridge tower. The mini-figures I know of what they are is Chancellor Palpatine (in red) and two Senate Commandos (in blue). In front is a Clone Pilot and another specialized Clone Trooper.

Yeah, me too. I mean, it still looks cool.

Yeah at least a little bigger....or more minifigs like the Star Destroyer and it's 11 or 12 figs. Also it seems like the sides slope down to much. (Just my quick opinion, not sure what the lineart for the Venator actually shows.)

hrmph........now that looks interesting. I wonder how it stacks up to the Original Trilogy era Star Destroyer that I picked up, i.e. features inside- I'm guessing the panels flap open to reveal some sort of interior?

this making it really hard to quite the lego addiction......
