Series two is very underwhelming but series 3 sounds pretty great. Finally getting some magnums with some characters, plus jetpacks and the grenade launcher... should be cool.

Wow, yes, very underwhelming. I finally pulled the trigger on these figures with the Emile, but series 2 just looks boring. Less spending for me!

Carter & Kat for me, only. why put Jun so far back when he is so popular?.

Wouldn't you like to see the rest before you judge the whole series? I'm personally looking forward to the Elite Officer. (and every non-exclusive Grunt they make, but that's just me) I'll pick up Carter since he's cool. I'm skipping most if not all the multiplayer guys.

But yes, series three sounds to be good.

Jun's popular? I'm not being sracastic, this comes as genuine surprise to me.

It's a good thing I have a job, because after The Halo Reach XBOX 360 bundle purchase, I have been dropping Benjamins at Target for these Reach figures and vehicles.

I would love to score the blue recon guy and red Elite, to team up with my Noble 7's, and fear my wants won't stop there. :D

Oooooooohhhhhhhh, I just reread the press release and I guess those four figures are just the preview wave or whatever. I didn't really read it clearly. The rest of the wave still doesn't impress me too much though... half the single figures are just CQC repaints.

That bugs me too.

alas more of my money is going to merchandise of a game i do not own...

As cool as it would be to have an actual blue guy in Recon attire, I see, as mentioned, they are CQC repaints. Still great figures IMO.

I'm still amazed at the level of articulation and weight on these McFarlane figures.

Agreed, these things weigh a ton and I love it.

I'm really looking forward to series 2 and 3. Got all the figures I want from series 1, so it's nice to have a little break before the new ones come out. Though there are only 3 figures I know I'll get from series 2 (Carter, Kat, and a Grunt Minor). Might also get the jet-pack 2-pack, but I'm going to wait to see what they look like, and whether or not the jet-packs can be worn by other Spartans, before deciding.

There's at least three individual figures (Jun, Elite SO's, Grunt Heavy), and at least one 2-pack (Covenant Rangers) from series 3 I plan on getting. Though there are a couple other figures/sets that sound interesting. I'm really looking forward to the energy sword the Elite Special Ops comes with.

Hopefully either series 4 or 5 gives us the Grunt Special Ops armor (only other Grunt variation I'm aware of), and some more of the Covenant's ranks. I have no interest in the Skirmisher's, tbh, but I wouldn't mind seeing some Jackals (love the shields), and a new Hunter figure (would buy two of them). Brute's would be interesting, but I'm not sure I'd buy any of them. I would definitely by an Arbiter figure, if they every made one.
