Thor Movie Figures Video Review

Hey guys I got the upcoming Thor Movie Series 3 3/4" Figures coming out from Hasbro and doing reviews of them. Here's the first one with the God of Thunder himself Thor!

Oddly enough, I'm digging the non-caped version more for some reason. Still, I will probably get the caped version, simply because it will be the "main" figure for this line.

Something about these figures there so plain looking :(

Looks ok to me, it's the accessories that don't sit well with me. And the falling cape, it's an issue for sure. I have the same problem with one of my figures.
I'd love to see a 6" version of this...hoping!!

Thanks for the review....

The figures I great I think, alot of very good parts for customs. The weapons , I dont like at all.

UltraMagnus2008 11-08-2010 10:04 AM

The weapons at least will make some cool Transformer weapons, Im looking forward to this line a lot, especially if theres a comic line like they did with IM.

boombatty 11-09-2010 10:25 AM

Well, I always wanted a ThunderStrike figure I guess. This shall be he.

Yep, I agree. That cape too is horrid, I hate the way it attaches, my SW Thor cape kept coming off so much I finally took it off and gave him a homemade cloth one. Not only looks better but allows more for poeseablitily as well as something for Hulk to grab onto when fighting him LOL.

Can't to get these at TJMaxx for $4.99!!!

No way in heck am I paying full price for these movie figures. Hopefully, Hasbro retracts its plans for releasing these at $7.99 each; they simply won't sell. I need to see the comic series figures to judge if I'll even bother with this line. The designs are straight mediocre....

Have they ever said that there WOULD be a comic series. Last I read, there wasn't going to be.

nomad1632 11-09-2010 04:40 PM

As of yet they've only shown the few movie figures and no comic series but I have a feeling there will be one seeing that the Captain America line has one just like the iron man 2 line.

They haven't said one way or another. We've only seen movie series so far, but the packaging mockup we saw at NYCC didn't specify that it was "movie series" leading some people to speculate there might not be a comic series, despite that we've only seen a grand total of 6 "basic" figures and one "deluxe" figure...which is probably a wee bit less than the totality of the line.
