Lots Of New Revoltech Pics

New Revoltech Predator, Angirasu, Evangelion and More

MonkeyBusiness 11-10-2010 07:13 AM

Ok, seriously, how does Revoltech get to do the Godzilla figures, but not do Godzilla, Mechagodzilla, and King Ghidorah first?

All I want is a 12" articulated Godzilla with lights and sounds that's not made out of crappy vinyl. Is that so much to ask?

I know how you feel man, but my only theory as to why their taking so long is that they are trying to perfect the Godzilla they must be working on.
Also Any idea if that Predator figure is going to have an alternate ''helmet/mask'' head?

bad karma 11-10-2010 08:28 AM

Anyone know the size of that Predator ?

MonkeyBusiness 11-10-2010 09:52 AM

If you're doing Kaiju figures, and your first three aren't Godzilla, Mechagodzilla, and King Ghidorah, you're doing it wrong.

Shin Densetsu 11-10-2010 12:50 PM

Revo Predator looks good, and so does EVA 01/Revo 100!

over9dud 11-10-2010 01:25 PM

looking forward to that gigan, I tell you what!

danbo 11-10-2010 04:49 PM

What kinda bothers me is how many Eva's we get bombarded with. dont get me wrong, i love my Revoltech Eva's and the improvements which have been made of late are nothing short of astounding. but how come the only example of an angel which we get is a puddle on the floor with some kind of odd arm protrusion. i would dearly love to have a revoltech angel to battle against my eva's. some great scenes could be recreated with eva 02's beast mode!

SPLIT LIP 11-10-2010 08:34 PM

I hope they do a Final wars Gigan. I think Gigan is great, but I prefer the more cyborg-like version.

I really, really, really hope we get Godzilla, Mecha Godzilla and Gihdorah soon. Hell, I hope we get multiple Godzillas.

jestermon 11-11-2010 09:27 AM

OOH hope they do a Zabat with stand and different hands, feet, weapons.

I think we are getting the Angels inevitably, I just think we got another EVA-01 to commemorate the 100th Yamaguchi Revoltech release because EVA-01 was the 1st Evangelion figure he sculpted for Kaiyodo over a decade ago, and the newest EVA-01 shows how far he has come.

I think that's what they are planning on doing.

Oh please. if you knew how Kaiyodo worked, you'd know if they COULD do them, they would have,

When Kaiyodo gets a license, they put a figure out, wait a few months, and put out another version, rinse and repeat. Its the exact same thing they have done with their Evangelion license.

The fact that they are releasing all these kaiju and not a single version of Godzilla amongst them means they can't yet for whatever reason. Godzilla would have been the first kaiju released, followed by some others, then another version of Godzilla, followed by some others...etc.

It's probably a licensing thing, or contractual obligation.

SPLIT LIP 11-12-2010 12:13 PM

Hopefully they are able to do Godzilla eventually. Fingers crossed.

The Gigan and Anguirus Revoltechs look awesome. But I guess my problem is how big are they? If someone does know that would be awesome.

5" at the highest I think, or a little below, that's how tall the sci-fi ones I saw in person were.

Fierce Krypton 11-20-2010 10:31 PM

if that predator is 5 inch I am sold! Will go well with my joes.
