LEGO Summer 2009

The Canadian Toy & Hobbies Fair was reviewed by Kris Abel, who posted images of Star Wars, Power Miners, Castle, and other sets, at his CTV.ca blog!

Hot diggy darn......

The noise you hear is my wallet screaming......

I think the big rock monsters from the rock raiders are called crystal kings (there is a link at brickset.com that lists a crystal king set.

Liking the starwars hoth sets and endor generator too.

SPACE POLICE>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> look at the aliens ! ! ! ! ! !

That golden knight looks amazing! The Space Police are also awesome. The Crystal Kings or whatever look pretty neat too.

No, the large rock monsters appear in a couple of the sets. The Crystal King is an even larger monster and is made out of bricks, not a pre-formed figure like that.

do you have a pic of the king?

Chosen 01-26-2009 08:08 PM

No, not yet. If/when I find the images of the summer Power Miners sets, I'll post them over in the Miners thread. The original source was a Brickset gallery that got promptly removed.

Cool LEGO Mindstorms Robotics Invention System 2.0 - Robotics

Special 3D building instructions included on the RIS CD-ROM lets you build three robots right away using the same pieces: a Candy Sorter, a Robotic Arm, and an Artbot that draws amazing pictures.

I can't really get into Mindstorms. It's just a tad bit expensive for my wallet.

I would be interested in the Endor Base....I wonder if it comes with charges to blow it up once you have it all assembled? :))
