Hi, i´m a Spanish fan of 3 3/4 action figures that enjoy too much reading news of this wonderful forum.

You can call me too Howling Fox, that is Zorro Aullador in English.

I collect Star Wars action figures, but I have too other figures from Marvel Universe, some from G. I. Joe, etc. You can see my collections in this Spanish forum dedicated to Star Wars. Sorry for Spanish lenguage on my links, but photos speak an international lenguage... I still can translate something that somebody doesn´t understand without problems:

First of all, my vintage Star Wars collection:

Collecting from Spain, means that you must to use Ebay many times because figures arrive here (first 2 waves) but after that you doesn´t see any more figures... sometimes you are a lucky boy because you find some new figure on a comic shop with action figures and all kind of merchandising too.

Most times, dealers that send new waves to toy shops and Supermarkets use to send the most of figures but allways there is one figure that to see it from here is not usual... (I still doesn´t find around here Deadpool figure form Wolverine X Men origins toy line, and I look from here -I live in Northern Spain-, from Madrid, or Barcelona on Comic conventions, etc., etc.), or you see one figure (Hulk figure form Marvel Universe 3 3/4 figure toy line, for example) too many times, but Captain America is not here... (for example).

But I have Ebay to take my figures...

Well, I want make my best on this forum from Spain and with Spanish as mother lenguage but I think, I express myself well on English... if sometimes I make mistakes, please, be patient and say it to me. To correct my English is good for me for participate on this forum.

Thanks for all, I began with a Spiderman Mego pocket action figure too many years ago (I remember that figure and a Hulk too, but I can´t remember any other from Mego Pocket Super Hero toyline around here...).

Nearly 1988 in June, I was a good boy at school and I choose as present the Marvel Secret Wars Captain America from Mattel toyline. After that figure, during Christmast time, birthdays and summers nearly all figures of that wonderfull collection (Marvel Secret Wars figures) was given to me as presents... only Black Spiderman, Spiderman (I had the Mego Spiderman, so I didn´t need anymore Spiderman) Hobgoblin and Falcon I didn´t have.

With Internet Era I finally end that collection and can continue buying sometimes more action figures and comics... (american and european comics over all).

Internet Era help me too with my Star Wars collection... during the 80´s I only had 2 figures: a Yak Face and the imperial dignatary, during the 90´s I began to buying the new action figures (POTF2 action figures) and with Internet Era... I continue with that hobby. Now, I want to end my vintage Star Wars action figures and finding and buying some of the Star Wars modern action figures...

As I allways say: Collecting is more a resistance race than a speed race so I have not urgency to end y collections.

Good to have another European on the forums who can sympathise with the distribution here!

I tend to get most of my stuff through BBTS, as although they're a little more expensive than other places, you can pre-order (and pay later) and they have a 'pile of loot' feature where you can hold back from getting your stuff shipped until something else you want comes in. (It's like Christmas when you finally get it!!!)

And to think, all these years I thought Zorro was just a name of some folk hero. Never knew it had a underlying meaning. Then again, the extent of my Spanish to-date has come from Sesame Street, Dora & Diego.
