Captain America Toys in January!!!
 

I think that may have been a mistake. I find it hard to believe that if they were going to hit in Jan that the ebay overseas would be on sale already as is usually the case. Particularly since Thor can already be found on ebay.

I have a hard time beleiving that they have not shown up overseas yet either way. We know from past experience that Hasbro loves to flood the market long before the movie hits (so the movie's hype can push a 2nd wave of the previously released figures back thru the stores). I cannot wait to have both the Thor & Cap America lines in the stores.

Obviously Hasbro is putting alot more effort into Captain America than they are Thor, so it doesn't seem outside of the realm of possibility that they may start pushing the beginnings of the Cap line as early as January or February. I can believe this.

I don't think it is a mistake....I'd think Toyfare is kinda credible when it comes to this stuff..

Except for the fact that they usually have a monthly mistakes blurb. I think the month was probably just incorrect. This late in Dec we would have seen pop ups on ebay. And I have Thor movie line figures in hand already which are slated for March according to Toyfare.

I like ToyFare - ToyFare made me the toygeek I am today - but they've always had a lot of errors in captions, and lately it's been worse.

If Captain America had a January release date, they would have shown up by now. June (the obvious typo) seems a little late, but maybe they don't want the Cap toys out when the Thor movie hits in May.

I guess it won't take long to find out for sure.

I just hope they give us a decent Bucky Cap and who knows they might even throw in a Steve Rogers in his current Super Soldier Commander of Shield costume. Hell they're giving us an Ultimate Cap, Crossbones, and U.S Agent so that tells us that they're going to have some figures associated with comics.

I don't know, Toyfare is always kind of off on release dates. I think THOR will show up before these do

Hell way back when the first Spiderman movie came out they released the figures almost a year before the movie came out. They'll probably drop Captain America as soon as they can because it seems like it's adding up to be their next big blockbuster before they do Avengers. The sooner they release the toys the more kids'll want their parents to take them when they see previews.

I think we are getting that for sure in Marvel Universe; he is shown prominently on the back of each new MU package.

So was Norman Osborn in a green Hammer outfit and we never got that (although they made the head and had the body if they had wanted to release it (if it had won the poll).

We got him in the form of Iron Patriot though. I dunno, since Rogers' current costume is one he uses in battle(I think?), I think we'll see it.

Yeah one of the threads here say he's gonna be in wave 3 or 4 I think and if that's accurate info he's listed as Steve Rogers not Cap so we probably will see that figure sometime soon. I still hope we get a decent Bucky Cap because the one we have now sucks.

WOW its cool if they are release on Jan and March, i really want to have that figures come to my drawer before the movie release hmmm2

The new Wizard just said both are due out in March or after.

thor has been released in some places!! but Cpt America... cant wait to see that.. coz ther isnt a movie official pic of even the actual suit!!
