It's only been "coming soon" for ... what... two years? Three years? I've lost track.

I'm not sure that I like this design more or less than Bandai's own SOC SPEC versions... but at least it's different. It's a tough sell when there's no real visual difference between two products.

That's one very stylized look for the D-1. Definitely not anime-correct. But I saw this look elsewhere. I think in an artbook somewhere. Anyone know?

Agreed that this is going to be a tough sell. Especially considering the price!
