Toy Fair 2011 Batman Legacy

Mattel Movie Series Batman Figures

scarecrow 02-13-2011 11:23 PM

I've been thinking a lot about the need for a movie-verse Gordon, and we finally have one now! It looks great too.

snake5289 02-13-2011 11:27 PM

I'm getting the AA Batman and Two-Face

Xcaliber037 02-14-2011 04:08 AM

That Arkham Asylum Batman looks awesome. These are in scale with DCUC right? When do these hit stores?

Specter 02-14-2011 11:29 AM

Arkham Batman looks great glad its the City version though the bat looks way better in it. anyone know why the figure has black and not a blue cape, cowl, gloves?

GOD DAMN IT Arkham Batman RULES! Man I thought we would have to wait at least a year since DC Direct is making one too! 4H one is better. AWESOME take on Batman!

I think we're definitely due for a repaint later.

snake5289 02-14-2011 01:59 PM

I personally like the black more than blue

jimster2010 02-14-2011 03:09 PM

I'm not that excited by these at all. Mattel really missed the bus with this line. Where's Poison Ivy, Ra's Al Ghul, Damien as Robin, Dick Grayson as Batman, Red Robin, Black Mask, and the c and c Killer Croc? Really? Mattel just going to give us slight retools on existing figures for Batman?

WylunCustoms 02-16-2011 04:59 AM

the batman figures could of been better.. gordon and two face look awesome

trebleshot 02-16-2011 06:57 AM

Please, please let me find that Joker this time around Mattel? I'll be your bestest buddy for life!

Two-Face is alright, but that Batman seems kind of, I dunno, off somehow.

And who's the Gimp? Generic AA thug #6, or just an excuse for customizers to do Pulp Fiction?

That's Bruce Wayne, about to get his butt kicked by some cowardly superstitious criminals. Didn't you recognize the arm spikes?

Prowl 2009 02-16-2011 07:45 AM

Love Mattel's take on AA Batman, will be getting him and Two-Face for sure! Hope Jim Gordon gets a single card release, I don't want Bruce Wayne in his pre-Batman outfit.

Any version of Ra's would be great. I wonder scale these are in? is it movie master scale or DCUC scale?

Specter 02-18-2011 02:28 PM

Movie Masters. from the day I saw Begins I wanted Ninja Bruce, woulda loved that.

scarecrow 02-18-2011 09:55 PM

I rewatched Begins last night, and it too really makes me want a Liam Neeson Ra's.

Interesting, the moviemasters are part of 2 pack assortment. The rest are done in DCUC scale. The Super Powers deco Mr. Freeze is a must as well as that golden age looking Joker
