Pricey but man there's barely been figures for Virtual On in the past few years!

Hmm... are we positive these aren't model kits? Kotobukiya is putting out both a Specineff and Raiden model kit (Raiden's out already, Speccy is coming) and those prices sound about in the right region for them. Plus, those are definitely stock photos from the Kotobukyia model press releases.

EDIT: Well, the Specineff photos are definitely of the Kotobukiya kit. The Raiden is different though. Maybe Kotobukiya is doing a new Raiden model. They released on in December but it had the big Satellite lasers on its shoulders vs. the missile pods shown on this one. The backdrops are the same though, so it's definitely a Kotobukiya product and almost certainly a model kit.

EDIT #2: Checked kotaku, yup, they're Kotobukiya models. Cool that they're making another Raiden, though I never picked up the first one they put out, heh. For those who want the more quintessential "laser shoulder" version, it's out right now. Get building! There's also a Temjin coming in March.

Speaking of which, I miss this series, I haven't played it since high school! Man Kaiyodo should buy a license to make Revoltechs of these suckers, that would be EPIC WIN.
