Mattel on MOTUC Subsciptions (Finally!)

Go to their Facebook page for mattycollector for the full story.

-Basically they'll be able to start that up for the last six figures of this year.

-It's a blind commitment to buy whoever those six figures are. The service will be offered again the following year for all 12 figures.

-This does NOT include "bonus figures" or Con-Exclusive figures.

-They also went to claim that all the bugs are fixed and the second shipment of Mer-Man will be available at noon on the 29th.

So, what does subscription mean? You can subscribe to a service that auto-orders the new figures?

DoctorVenkman84 04-21-2009 08:02 PM

Yep.

It will certainly make things easier for those who can't be online at 12 pm. Besides if you don't like a particular figure, I'm positive you would be able to unload the offender.

Now I wonder if they mail them as they arrive or in a bundle?

dawg99 04-23-2009 11:06 AM

cool idea might look into it

Runamuck 04-23-2009 03:41 PM

Where do you subscribe to this service?

Naughty Boy 07-23-2009 07:20 AM

Will we be charged for the whole amount right away? $240 plus $20 shipping?
This will very expensive for those getting doubles like me. With this ridiculous amount of money. In a way they are charging us for the molds of the new characters like Battle Cat and Teela.

So what are the figures for 2010, i signed up but i'm really interested more in figures i've heard mentioned for the rest of this year (Randor, Wondar, Zodak) I'd love to get one of the freakin he men too as i can't see paying 100 bucks for one online.

Da_Last_2_Walk 08-08-2009 01:46 AM

I might have to get a 2010 subscription.

flywheels 08-08-2009 05:44 PM

I caved and did the '10 subscription tonight. I like everything already shown (Randor is my least favorite thus far). I figured with cutting my monthly comic purchases down and not being able to buy as much stuff @ retail (wife frowns on me spending money w/ a little girl on the way) I could swing basically $30 a month. If it's a figure I just don't like I should at least be able to break even if I list the figure on eBay or in my eBay store.

I'd like to see Ram Man, Man-E-Faces, Count Marzo, Evil-Lyn, the Faceless One, Evil Seed, whatever the leader's name of the bat race from the Mike Young series off the top of my head.

well when they mess this up I've bought my last Mattel product for sure....
