Studio Halfeye Perfect Change Shin Getter 1

A neat little figure that I sadly no longer own. Studio Halfeye figures are essentially hand-assembled resin kits, usually of transformable designs that are otherwise thought unfeasible either to market or even to make functional. Their cost and low production runs makes finding pictures of them on the internet a pain and a half.

A size comparison with Classics Prime... For their complexity, SHE figures are incredibly small.

Awesome :)

I find it awesome beyond words how such a big robot upper body comes out of such an unassuming looking jet.

Too bad you no longer own this piece. Did it go to a good home?

QuinJester 11-22-2008 09:10 AM

Of course! SHE figures are the kind of thing that you appreciate, even if you don't appreciate them (if that makes much sense at all), due to their complexity and care of design (and usually price, damnable things). The guy who I sold it to put a big photo spread of it somewhere on a different forum; I think he was definitely a better fit for the figure than I was.

This piece has always attracted me. It's the perfect marriage of design and execution for this design. If I had the cash I would definitely hunt one down.

Does it switch through all 3 getter changes? Most likely not...

No, unfortunately not. You'd have to go with the SHE Perfect Change Getter for something like that, which looks very odd, and costs somewhere in the ballpark of a grand to buy, heh.
