What was the scale of the original VF-11?

Listed as 1/72, but actually 1/68 or bigger due to fragility concerns.

So this release is the largest thus far? Hmmm. I might pick this up somewhere down the line if it hasn't sold out. I bet it will be snatched up though.

Yes but also the priciest, it's about $180 msrp, and the yen is gaining strength against the dollar. This is before shipping BTW.

So far the primary complaint is the lower half of the heatshield not connecting properly, however some shots, including the ones we got today, have the shield seemingly working well. So who knows.

It's only been a handful of days since release, so I'm waiting to hear if anyone got Yamato'd yet as in broken parts.

I wonder how gits_sacs from sgcollect was able to get his to connect properly.

I would hate to have spent that much money for that to happen.

Got this toy on Tuesday and I cant put it down. God this thing is plastic sex! By far my fav Macross toy, if not my all new favorite toy ever.

they confirmed in the macrossworld forums that there is no heat-shield problem

I can also say I had no issues with my heat shield, just got to give it a little tug and it snaps in just fine.
