Amoktime.com has an incredibly awesome Creature From the Black Lagoon 22.5" vinyl figure available for pre-order. It retails for $149.99 and is scheduled to ship in July.

I can't wait to get my hands on this guy. The detail is great and I am really liking the stylized interpretation of him. A Frankenstein's Monster in the same style is scheduled to follow shortly after.

Ah! My favorite horror icon besides the Mummy! I don't get the whole vinyl figures thing but this is indeed very aesthetically pleasing.

I agree with you, scarecrow, about the whole vinyl toy thing. I think that some stuff is pretty cool but I prefer action figures. Usually the vinyl stuff is way more expensive for the size compared to the plastic stuff. But that Creature is just so awesome!

That looks pretty swank- I happen to be reading Creature from the Black Lagoon: Time's Black Lagoon by Paul Di Filippo right now, and also took another look at the three films. Good stuff.
