Identify a figure for me
 

Hey guys i was going through all the stuff from my child hood and found this guy and can't for the life of me remember what he is from or whats his name i know i bought him around the same time the toybiz xmen where out mid to early 90's and he looks a little japanese to me any one help have any clue

look's like "rand" from the matchbox robotech line. strangely collectiondx actually just did a review of that figure

the one in the review is different than yours but i know some of the matchbox figures had several different variants. the headsculpt on your version looks way better. is there a date stamp anywhere?

It matches the Rand figure on this page a lot closer. You can even see where the blue paint on the archive's Rand is starting to come off at the elbows.

Theone on mine the wrsitbands are blue but the rest of the arm is definitly yellow the paint has really worn on the hair on mine though ..wow can't belive i actually found out who he is, and looking through i have 3 of the other ones aswell robotech master, scott bernard and roy fokker wow these guys are awesome, as for a date stamp theres some very faint markings on his backside but even with a magnifying glass all i can make out is made in china

Actually it's a Jungle Viper. Says so right on the base. (He's a master of disguise Y'know!) :)

I should have spotted that sooner crafty bugger :)
