Top Ten Toys You Miss
 

Post the toys you had when you were a kid and wish you had still. You can post how you lost them too if you like. Nostalgia FTW!

10 - Lawn Darts - Stupid safety laws.
9 - That stretch guy that was filled with corn syrup, felled by the inevitable homicide when curiosity trumped good sense.
8 - My 21-B and Han solo that I traded for a Millenium Falcon before I heard the phrase "too good to be true."
7 - GI Joe Firefly - Lost when I thought toys were silly in High school.
6 - All my 3.5 inch Metal Getter-Robo figures, lost to intensive play. Stupid plastic legs.
5 - SW Snow Speeder - Lost in a storage debacle
4 - MOSC Spider Man Figs (and extensive comic collection) that I sold to help payoff a GF's debts. She wasn't my GF much longer after that. Stupid GF.
3 - My 2 foot Trans-Zor-Z (Mazinger?)- Kept tipping over, so I cut of his legs to fill with nails. Couldn't get the legs back on.
2 - He-Man figs - my mom gave them all away
1 - All my Transformer minibots - lost in a storage debacle

Nice list. I'll give it a go:

10. Lawn darts (I miss them too).

9. Most of my (now) vintage Hot Wheels that got on the wrong side of some firecrackers.

8. My original Millenium Falcon ship/playset. It was sold/lost when we moved from England back to the States.

7. My Hot Wheels Big Wheel (with E-Brake!). Blew out the PLASTIC tires doing power slides in the street. Good times.

6. All my MOTU figures, especially Tri-Clops and Man-E-Faces. Never knew what happened to them. They just were just gone one day. I think someone snuck them into a yard sale that I didn't know about.

5. A die-cast Voltron set that was about 1 1/2 feet tall (from what I remember). Left in England somewhere when I was 11 or 12.

4. A G1 Optimus Prime toy with long smokestacks and the belief that children aren't as stupid as lawmakers would lead us to believe.

3. My original 3 3/4 GIJoe collection. Most were KITLOD, but the survivors were sold at a garage sale several years ago.

2. My original AT-AT from the 80's. I used to pretend it was my pet dog, since we couldn't own one. Also lost in the move back to the States, but I miss it a lot more than the Falcon.

1. My complete G1 Pirahnacon set that I sold to my sister's boyfriend at the time. He turned out to be a psycho that my sis quickly dumped, but not before he got away with a very good deal because he was dating my sister. I can't remember how much he paid for those Seacons, but it wasn't enough.

Its funny because I actually still have most of my toys from when I was kid, so I technically don't miss them. However I will list toys I miss seeing in the toy aisles.

G1 Transformers - Definitely miss seeing the red and purple boxes, seeing the giftsets, and staring at Fort Max and thinking "one day".

OT Star Wars - I never really had these when I was a kid. Not sure why, but I always wanted the Imperial Shuttle, the Falcon, an AT-AT, and of course I have remedy that by now. :)

Silverhawks - I never had these either but they were definitely cool.

Thundercats - Great figures, vehicles, and playsets. Great show too.

In no particular order, and also child hood and adult faves as well.

1. Stretch Armstrong
2. Micronauts (I still insist I'm gonna get the reissues)
3. Raydeen (Shogun Warriors, my first real "mech")
4. 99% of my MIB G1 Transformers (sold due to finances):(
5. All the original Star Wars figures
6. My HotWheels collection (not action figures, but toys nonetheless)
7. Xevos (what a cool toy, so sad they stopped makin' 'em)
8. 1998 C5 Chevy Corvette (Pewter w/black int. my "big boy" toy):(


Uh-oh, I guess that means I have two more toys I'm gonna miss still to come! Now I'm gettin' paranoid!;)

I dunno about top 10 but here's what I can think of

1. All my GI Joes that I sold for a $1 before moving to California.
2. My Space LEGO sets that I left at my friend's house. I keep vowing to buy them on ebay.
3. My original Star Wars Stormtrooper blaster with the electronics (sound and rotating black and yellow cylinder in the barrel) that was painted black unlike all the new ones with no electronics and are white.
4. MOTU Trap-Jaw and Kobra Khan. It's freaking Trap-Jaw!

Apparently I either didn't have a lot of toys as a kid or I don't miss them. Oh well. My top 4!

Top 5 toys I Miss.. tough one..
6.Robotix.c'mon build it urself motorized robots how sweet is that..
5.Thundercats. I had about 90% of them man they were cool.
4.MOTU. had the entire collection castle greyskull, snake mountain, we had so much fun.
3.GI Joe, I still have all my original figures. but all my vehicles are long gone. and I had a bunch of them too many to list = sad :-(
2.G1 Jetfire, probably my most missed toy, best TF ever imo. Awesome, Awesome toy..
1.had this R/C Big Foot that was freakin' awesome it would drive over everything would even put some Joes in the bed and take 'em for a ride.
