Are these the only four known to be in this wave so far? I like the Namor, but I still want to get that Invaders 4-pack to get his classic version. Not too excited about the Iron Man repaint. And what's the difference with the new Spidey. He kind of looks like he has a metallic sheen to him, similar to that of the Silver Surfer's. But I can't tell if its just the lighting.

Getting tired of seeing Iron Man and Spiderman. They're like the Cobra Commanders and Snake Eyes of the Marvel Universe waves.

I agree with the Spiderman, Iron Man opinions. While I like both and would love to have some different types of armor, i.e. Hulkbuster, how many more Spidey's and Iron Man's do we need. I love this line for the "depth" of characters or at least that's what Hasbro keeps promising us. If a repaint or new mold is needed then fine but in this case enough with these two and let's get to some new characters. BTW, what are the release dates for Wave 4 and 5, if anyone knows.

Actually there is Electro also. He was the only one confirmed by Hasbro for Wave 5. Im not sure why we didn't get a pic of him.

This wave will also have Electro.

But short of that, looks like another light wave for me.
Wave 4 only moonknight, wave 5 guardian and Silver Centurion (armory gives me no choice).

Spidey can wait till the TRU three pack IMHO, but I can do with many more ironmen, would just prefer some actual accurate molds for them. =/ 100s of ironman doesn't bother me if they at least match their comic counterparts.
Spidey's slot though should be filled with vindicator though, or another alpha flight fem to balance that out. It's just weird to have all these team guys sliding in, but then the rest of their teams not even announced. It's like buying on pure faith.

I do love the fact they seem to be providing even Web Of Shadows type story figures though. They've covered so far, black spidey, spidey, moon knight, wolvie, and others that cameo'ed in that game.

Even Dark Avengers, they've covered Ms. Marvel, Daken, and Iron Patriot rather easily. Honestly this silver centurion armor probably should have had the iron patriot paint scheme. Since he's the only actual armor repaint in the comics from this armor besides the stealth variant that was used randomly elsewhere.

And they can keep skipping the hulkbuster armor imo as well. There's already a great one that can be built from Monger II once you dremel out stane, and give it the right head slot from the early 90s Toy Biz Hulkbuster armor. The MU extremis armor can even fit inside once you do that. =D

Overall though? Well at least my wallet gets a breather for ROTF, TFA, BAFS, and other ideas. Maybe even more legos ;)

Wave 4 should be end of may beginning of june for them to show up.
And wave 5 could be anyone's guess, but if they keep to the schedule so far, I'd think early july late june.

I wonder if the armor and head from the Ironman toon line could fit on this guy. That'd actually make him look more like he should.

My 2 cents, we need Guardians significant other at the very least, alongside James Proudstar in X-force gear to go with wolvie, As well as X-23 X-force outfit, not to mention Reed Richards and Susan Richards/Storm. It'd be nice at the very least to have one complete team already.

It's not even like a X-23 figure would be that hard to filter in too, just use jacket logan's jacket and arms, remove the middle claw, then use Ms. Marvel's body and legs, and either her long hair head for the mask, or a more fitting head for Ms. Kinney.

Wow...got my hopes up on Silver Centurion only to find a red/silver Extremis from the Marvel Adventures books....I'm disappointed. Hopefully we'll get a true Centurion later this year.

While I'm still disappointed in the centurion armor, I'll probably end up buying two. One to paint into Iron Patriot, and the other into war machine.

Guardian is ripe with potential for repaints too, so I hope this means a captain britain soon. Namor I may get just to get the illuminati, so here's hoping on a blackbolt soon. But spidey is getting a bit redundant. Still haven't seen electro yet so can't comment on him. But I guess my wallet's getting hurt on this wave anyway for 4 figures afterall.

I bet it is just the Johnny Storm body anyway. So the head is all that matters.
From this wave 5 all I want is Electro & Guardian.

i cant see any difference on spider-man.. whats different? is this the darker colored version? i thought thats already out

:( Was hoping the SC armor would be a new mold, they've already done a repaint of this version. Amazing that Hasbro will make a new Mold for Black Costume Spidey but not for CS Armor.

As others have said, I'm so, SO disappointed that the Silver Centurion is just a repaint... I mean, it really is its own armor, and symbolized some strong things for Tony at the time. It's my personal favorite armor too behind the original silver clunker..

Everything else is beyond "meh" for me.

Yeah, not really seeing the difference for Spidey. Slightly disappointed by Silver Centurion, as well, since this is the 3rd redeco for that mold already. I'm surprised SC wasn't a redeco of the classic IM mold instead.

But I do like Guardian, Namor and Electro. And I'm all for Vindicator and the rest of Alpha Flight getting a release.

Actually, Black Spidey is not a new mold. He is a redeco of wave 1 Spidey. But I'm not sure about wave 5's Spidey. So far, I'm not seeing a difference.

This is incorrect. I won't say it's a new mold, because I think it might be using the same as Silver Surfer, but it is definitely not a redeco of wave 1 Spidey. It's a different mold.

Black spidey is a new mold and its not the same as Silver Surfer. They will use the same body on the upcoming Iceman from the 3-pack.

Ah, yeah. I knew it wasn't a repaint of the first Spidey mold, but wasn't positive if it was a new mold altogether.

Huh. I'll have to look at mine again when I get home. I could have sworn he wasn't a new mold and a redeco of wave 1 Spidey.

Although in my defense, most of them have been in the basement along with all my other collections for a few months now, so they're all blurring together in my head at this point.

I think it might be taller than the previous Spidey too, though I'm not positive.

It's taller by about a head. He also lacks Spidey's waist articulation.

I guess that I am in the Minority that is looking forward to Namor! I hope to have both versions of him by the end of summer(as I cannot make SDCC I have asked a friend to see if he can snag the set). But other than Guardian and perhaps Electro, this is a pass wave, kind of like Wave 4.

Just noticed this on my figure also...well, that settles it; I'm officially calling this figure the Mac Gargan Sinister Spiderman from Dark Avengers.

When are these being released ?

June/July sometime I think. Not sure since there is no official date yet. But so far it's looking like one every month. Starting from the beginning of march.
March waves 1-2
end of april, begging of may wave 3
end of may, beginning of june wave 4?
end of june, beginning of july wave 5?
That'd be my assumption for now.
And we're supposed to be getting 50+ figures at least by the end of the year in total.
So hopefully more have been covered in later waves.

How many of those 50 do you think will end up being Iron Man or Spider-Man repaints? 5 waves in and we have 4 versions of Iron Man and 3 Spider-Man, 4 Spider-Man if you count the repaint. I really hope that this is not going to be common in this line. I know that these characters are two of their most popular right now but that is pretty excessive.
