L. O. V. E the Predator franchise. I cannot wait until wave 3 comes out. Come on TRU....

Do Boy 09-29-2011 06:12 PM

Does anyone know where I can get the Hot toys snap kit Pred? Are those even any good?

BlackMagnus 10-16-2011 11:54 AM

Have you checked BBTS? While those HT are fantastic, spending that kind of coin on a figure like that is out of the cards.

what do you guys think is the best predator to get? is there one out of all the ones NECA has released which is your favourite? Im thinking of getting one but cant decide. I think the uber predator from the Predators movie is quite cool, but a part of me wants to get the classic 1987 predator as that is the bnest film and original.... but it annoys me that the mast isnt removable. is there one with a removable mask?

ive tried to look online but it looks like they are all either with or without a mask?

Sadly the masks are not removable. The Boar (center of the above pic) is my current favorite. I'm a Pred junkie so, I do love them all lol. You can't go wrong the the classic masked Pred though. All of the current wave sport the new (and much needed) leg articulation so, keep that in mind if posing them is something you are into.

Hi there have you ever considered getting Hot Toys Predators as well? Im sure you have come across them before and if you do not plan to get Hot Toys Predator figures I guess you must have your reasons. But in my opinion they produce some of the best predator figures in the market now. Just that prices are on the steep side but they are really of good quality. If I were to choose only one predator figure it would be the Hot Toys Jungle Predator from the 1987 Predator movie. He is sold out now as he was launched quite some time back. But now Hot Toys does have a newly released "Classic Predator" from the Predators Movie and it is a good enough substitute I believe.

Those figures are fan freaking tastic but, I can buy the entire line of NECA figs for the price of one Hot Toy. That and I in no way, have the room for them if I did want to drop the coin.

Haha, cool bro. I told you they were addicting! It kinda sucks that you started with wave 4 because now if you go back to collect the others, you will feel like you are taking a step backwards are far as the articulation goes.

Close up of the Boar.

I'd really like the classic one, and a clear one or some kind of stealth version. I like the long staff too, not frm the shaman, but the combat thing

Sounds like the upcoming TRU exclusive 2 pack is just what you need. ;)

Ok, I finally opened up my TRU two pack. I took a couple shots. I think they came out really good. I love the back drop the berseker comes with. I'd love to get these guys outside for some nature photography sessions.

Hope you guys like my shots :)

There was a clear one that Kenner did as a mail-away back in the '90's. It's not as tall as the current NECA Predators nor is the detail as good as it is on the more current stuff but it's out there.

Anyone remember the AvP 2-pack that TRU had as an exclusive back then? The Predator looked decent but I wasn't too impressed with the included Alien.

I had one when I was a kid. around the 90s. It was a black alien and a cool predator with a blaster rifle. TRU released a two pack similar about a year or so ago, I passed on it stupidly. I love the alien series also. I used to have all of them.

We may be thinking of two different items. The TRU 2-pack I'm thinking off was in a 12" scale, had a grayish looking Alien and a Predator with wrist blades and the throwing disc.

I have some of the Kenner Aliens items that I bought off of Ebay years ago in storage, all unopened. I'll have to go looking for them and possibly sell them off at a future date.

Speaking of TRU, I saw the new 2 pack last night. It's a nice looking set.

I'm so jealous of you guys, I don't have the series 4 yet instead I bought the 2 pack and I fucking love it. If any of you know where to get the series 4 for a good deal. Please let me know. Thanks

awesome guys

LeChap 04-07-2012 06:59 AM

Been hunting the Classic Predator in the UK for ages now. Anyone had any luck?

In terms of figures, the ones I have are awesome! I have the TRU 2 pack, the Falconer, and just for the rivalry, the AVPR Alien Warrior. Had a few problems with paint in the Falconer's joints at first, but all figures are problem free! Great line!

(Also, Ironjazz, glad to see a fellow Daft Punk fan here!)

I love this line, lets keep this thread going. I just got into it recently, I have the wave 4 and the 3 guys that go with it and the TRU 2 pack

Dug this up from April 6 on NECA's Twitter.

Knowing my local Forbidden Planet, this Toys R Us exclusive will likely go to them in the UK. Still, I'm all for new figures!

NECA's twitter has confirmed the SDCC exclusive will be the Cloaked City Hunter! Revealed a few days ago with a teaser pic of it's accessory.

Also, during Toy Fair '12, they revealed the Series 6 figures, which I didn't actually see during Toyark's coverage. Check them out below!

(Also got the Boar Predator yesterday. Bloody fantastic figure!)

EDIT: Nevermind, they also revealed the cardback for the SDCC exclusive. Attachments updated accordingly.

EDIT 2: Joe has posted the SDCC exclusive to the main page. Looks like he saw the pics first.
