Masters of the Universe 2002 Skeletor

Like the highlander, there can be only one. Pick your chosen one and 'splain your self.

2002. He was powerful, and not as bumbling as his 80s counterpart. A close second is Movie Skeletor. He was pretty bad ass, and those in his entourage were actually fearful of him.

Quoted for WIN.

Movie Skeletor.

Frank Langella can whoop up on all of those other Skeletors! Just give homeboy a cosmic key and we are done here!

Shin Densetsu 04-28-2011 04:41 PM

My vote goes for 2002. God I loved that cartoon.

trebleshot 04-29-2011 07:24 AM

Yeah, gonna side with 2002 Skelly. But definitely give props to the Movie version. Probably the best part about that train-wreck.

Shin Densetsu 04-30-2011 08:27 PM

The old one looks ridiculous in a good way, corny too. I can't help but chuckle each time I see him. If I saw him in real life I wouldn't be able to take him seriously. Looks like he's from Prince's crew.

Optimus Vader 05-03-2011 07:56 AM

The original. It's the only one listed here that wasn't a failure.

trebleshot 05-03-2011 08:00 AM

How did he not fail? He got beat practically every episode.

In fact, every version was defeated at some point by He-Man and co.

Optimus Vader 05-03-2011 11:25 AM

I meant failed as in; success of the series/movie, merchandise, etc,..

GK Punk 05-04-2011 06:27 PM

Can I just pick all? Skeletor is easily one of my favorite fictional characters of all time.

frankenart 08-01-2011 09:08 AM

movie version, heck he took over grayskull, was a god for a few minutes atleast, over all he kicked more ass.

ludovicotek 08-01-2011 09:18 AM

Original MOTU for me. Yeah, he was bumbling, but he is such a cool design. I love his colors, especially that yellow skull. And his voice. The 2002 version is definitely more menacing, but he is just a copy of the original. The 2002 series was awesome though! I really enjoyed it.

omega145 08-01-2011 09:44 AM

Thread resurrection! I'd go with the original as that's what I think of when I hear Skeletor but the 2002 Skeletor looks pretty bad @ss.
The new adventures Skeletor is terrible and the movie version is the worst out of all of them and is basically as bad as the movie was.
