Anyone want a Earth's Mightiest Heroes toylin

Just a question I wanted to ask you guys. I really want to see some of the designs of the show in toy form.

jamesmruddy 04-12-2011 06:08 PM

I agree, it could be a very cool toy line.

Prem1x 04-12-2011 06:28 PM

I really don't want another Marvel line to dilute the buyer pool. Though if an A:EMH gets me a Quinjet, then I'll be happy.

Jason Abbadon 04-12-2011 08:04 PM

You know....NO.
I'd rather they made MU figures to match the characters shown in EMH- guys like The Grim Reaper, Kang, Mockingbird, etc. than have a whole new line competing for rack space.

MasterSock 04-12-2011 08:19 PM

Nope Marvel universe can cover all that stuff.

I agree!
The Wolverine & the X-Men figure line failed because of that.
Who would really want a line with less articulation, a toon sculpt, & cost more?

nakobass 04-13-2011 06:31 AM

I say YES, Would love 3 or 6 inch figures of the Avengers. Wouldn't mind if they just put them into the MU or ML lines either.

Nightrain 04-13-2011 08:22 AM

Yes, but I want 8" actually. I tire of small figures, especially when it's not necessary for vehicles or whatever.

DarkestKnight 04-13-2011 10:00 AM

I would, even if it was just small waves of the main characters. Especially since they'll no doubt have a toyline for the Ultimate Spider-Man series, and I wouldn't be surprised if the animation style is very compatible.

Exactly, it didn't work out so well for Ironman Armored Adventures or Wolverine and the X-Men.

Definitely the better route!

Plus with the avengers movie coming, and what's bound to be a bountiful comic series line... I'll just wait for 2012 to get my hands on much of that.
The only avengers figures I'm really missing are Scarlet Witch, Quicksilver, and Wonderman anyway. (I painted Secret wars wasp to be black and yellow anyway.)

Quicksilver and Wonderman are in an upcoming two pack....no word on the Scarlett Witch yet.
Good call on the Wasp- I repainted a Heroclix wasp in that outfit. My old Heroclix Ant Man is becoming the current version (O'Grady).

cobralord 04-14-2011 10:29 AM

A new line would probably be disappointing and not last that long to cover all the characters, they should just make MU Antman, Wasp, Mockingbird, Maria Hill, Grim Reaper, Whirlwind, Baron Strucker, Abomination, Leader, Kang, Man Ape, Baron Zemo, Executioner, Radioactive Man & Arnim Zolla.

+1.

Shin Densetsu 04-14-2011 11:21 AM

If it is a subline of marvel universe with consistent articulation and quality sculpts and paint apps, yea why not?

trebleshot 04-14-2011 12:37 PM

Subline? Yes. Separate line? No.

I'd even be fine with comic 2-packs, but as Snow said, we're bound to get our fill of Avengers toys in 2012. I just hope they do both movie and comic series.

jmo 01-02-2012 09:46 PM

Yeah, I think I wouldn't want to see a seperate line for the avengers animated because I'm tired of these action figures flooding the market with cartoonie lookin, bad articulation little hunks of plastic on the shelf. I think they can just cover them either in the marvel universe or the resurrected legends(yes!)line. They look a lot better . Love the show and how they're using different heroes and villians in it too. Are you reading hasbro?

Exodus 01-02-2012 09:53 PM

Yup I agree with the folks who said "No" and just stick them in the MU/ML line. They did some of the Ultimate comic figures in the MU, so keep it the same. Plus overall it's basically Marvel anyways.

scottmurdock 01-02-2012 10:10 PM

Great minds think alike! I think I asked this a while back. I agree with the masses, it would be great to get EMH heroes and baddies in the MU line.

bmorr 01-02-2012 10:16 PM

figures are one thing, but where are the new episodes! That is much more important.

jmo 02-01-2012 09:17 PM

new avengers cartoon episodes

yeah, where are the new episodes?! dont leave us hanging, dudes!

NoodleChow 02-01-2012 09:26 PM

only if they could incorporate it into the MU line in some way.

I think the best example would be the Renegades Storm Shadow. make a figure with a swappable head or accessories to reflect the cartoon version. otherwise i foresee it being gimmicky or lacking in articulation like we're seeing with the Avengers line, the iron man adventures line, as well as that wolverine and the x-men line.

FancyPants 02-01-2012 09:45 PM

I thought we did this. The show's more obscure villains and such would be better suited to MU as opposed to a whole new line clogging shelf space at already bland retailers :(

IMDB says season two airs Apr. 1, 2012

Colder Soldier 02-01-2012 11:17 PM

I would want everything of Hydra's to look just like the show. The show's Hydra Troop design and big Squllskuid* vehicle would be so great.

*Yep. I just named that thing. All me.

cabrican 02-01-2012 11:23 PM

yes and i would like to see more of the villains.

M3T4L V1KING 02-01-2012 11:25 PM

I'm one of those guys that hates any figure that has an animated look. So I'm going to have the idea a big no. I'm kind of an ass that way.
