joint fixins

I figure this would be the best place to go for my tiny problem.

I just picked up a Marvel Universe Contrictor and his right bicep cut joint doesn't seem to fit right. The arm keeps popping off the rod if I turn it too much. It's not a huge problem, it stays on just fine but if I move it around too much without actively pushing it together then it pops.

I've heard of joint-tightening procedures, and if that is what is needed I'm wondering if anyone can give me the low down on one of those. To me it looks like the nub that goes in the arm socket needs to be a tad thicker.

If the ball needs to be thicker than all you need is super glue. Before you start be prepared. Have a rag with you for any dripping and wear latex gloves. Wearing protective eye equipment is not a bad idea either. Apply it lightly and MAKE SURE you continuously move the joint around untill the glue dries. Move it in every possible direction the joint will go. If you don't do that you have your self a solid arm that won't move. Keep applying little by little untill it's where you wan it to be. Have fun and don't hurt your self!

Before you do anything else, make sure it's not just the factory assembly that went bad. Take the arm off and heat it up with a hair-dryer or leave it in a cup of hot water for a few minutes. Squoosh the plug-hole together with your fingers and then dip it in cold water. That should return the plastic to its original molded form. If that doesn't work however it means the plastic was damaged somehow (not just warped inside).

Another way the superglue method works is to just apply it to the peg-end and wait. Build that up larger.,
